QUOTE(Alexdino @ Feb 26 2023, 08:01 PM) anyone know can klia boarding pass access klia2 lounge? If you can access KLIA2 lounge means you can enter KLIA2 boarding area after the gate. One can enter the lounge if you are invited or as paying guest. For example, if you are taking MH flights - you need to be an "invited" guest, have lounge vouchers or hold special Enrich privileges. You can't pay your way in if you don't have anything mentioned earlier. Commercial lounges (eg. PPL in MY, Miracle Lounge in BKK) You can pay your way in or hold privileges to enter. (E.g credit card privileges) Boarding pass are not interchangeable between KLIA and KLIA2. Boarding pass are granted if you are going to board a flight in the respective terminal. In any airport, these areas are high security areas.

QUOTE(knwong @ May 23 2024, 05:06 PM) True. Which I why I felt if the new AmBank MAS cc can give MH Golden Lounge access then it's worth it... Existing AMBank cards have spending requirements before you can utilise the lounge. As much as a lot of the members are looking forward to the AMBank Enrich, don't jump the gun just yet until the full details are made available to public.

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Oct 19 2024, 04:55 PM) Seems like CIMB just updated their PPL (and PPF) list to include more. Saw their last updated was 16 October 2024. Google your card and click on the list of PPL to check. AFAIK I saw Travel cards and VI/VS have different URLs. Yup - comparing previous CIMB PPL list on 20th Jun 24' vs the one on 16th Oct 24', the list expanded from 15 pages to 29 pages

QUOTE(knwong @ Nov 5 2024, 09:50 AM) I heard the moment you sign up for AEON card they will "harass" you with a lot of their finance promotional material non-stop Heresay information is frowned upon here - next time please substantiate all claims with your personal experience and evidences. I don't fancy statements "I hear this and that from so and so" because anyone can claim anything without any basis of truth. FYI, you can opt out for marketing communications in all credit card applications. Members please explicitly opt out of these marketing comms especially if you sign via agents where you may not be paying attention whereas the agent just tick this in your form. It is a major banking offence if these marketing comms comes in (where your PID is being used) without your explicit consent - hope this clarifies. QUOTE(advgamer @ Mar 12 2025, 08:57 AM) just sharing last week i travel to HK, intend to use CIMB Petronas VI-i complimentary access in HK PPF (near gate1). then notice the card is unaccepted... CIMB listed HK PPF accepted cards to be CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite, CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite-i, CIMB Travel World Elite, CIMB Travel World, CIMB Travel Platinum and CIMB Visa Infinite-I. Did it happened differently in your experience ? This post has been edited by hye: Mar 12 2025, 05:16 PM

QUOTE(advgamer @ Mar 13 2025, 08:58 AM) 1st i thought CIMB Petronas VI-i = CIMB Visa Infinite-I. but HK PPF told me the card has no complimentary access... OK. Card products may have different features once you go into specific sub-brands. You may have been able to enter the PPL but here you are seeking entry into PPF ?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 25 2025, 04:15 PM) Ah thanks. Just checked, didn't expect PRVI Miles Elite has no 3x minimum spending (same goes to Zenith) or I missed it vs VI with 12x rides but need to spend at least 5k in the last 30 days. VI gives rides from KLIA2 while PRVI Miles Elite and Zenith only for KLIA. Luckily I hardly travel from KLIA2 and spend 5k is not worth for me. My friend has the UOB Metal and they picked him up in an Alphard. Ahh .. UOB Metal. That's a totally different league altogether. Just in case members started asking - this card is by invitation only.

QUOTE(saintprayer @ Mar 25 2025, 08:53 PM) Anyone have latest list of lounge access using CIMB World Travel card? I tried in the official website but blank page. Seems like they removed miracle lounge access in DMK? The list of lounge access has been updated by CIMB - dated 25th Mar 25'. Link to list is available in CIMB website. Yes, Miracle Lounge access has been removed as AoT made changes to how lounge operators can provide access to travelers.

QUOTE(gaijin @ Mar 28 2025, 12:02 PM) strange , just realised maybank world mastercard doesnt cover Thailand ... https://www.maybank2u.com.my/iwov-resources...lite-lounge.pdfSame for krisflyer card too ... guess its overall maybank  https://www.maybank2u.com.my/iwov-resources...tional-list.pdfThis update came about when AOT updated the T&C of lounge operators in Thailand airports. MBB is not the only one making changes, all banks are - those with tie ups to Thailand lounge operators.

QUOTE(algorhythm @ Apr 2 2025, 06:16 PM) Is UOB VI still a good card for (local/worldwide) lounge access ? Or shall I consider other banks or UOB Prvi Miles elite? I guess this answer depends on the destinations that you will be flying from and your traveling patterns/behaviours among others. Have a view of what are your traveling patterns are and compare it with the lounge covered under Dragon Pass. Generally this is a decent card if you fly internationally via KLIA 1 - 12 entries to a 3rd party lounge for yourself but if you want to bring someone as well, lounge hopping or even unlimited entries - this is not the card for such purpose.

QUOTE(FinalHistory @ Apr 2 2025, 09:58 PM) ahhh crap. Thank you for the kind clarification If you are looking for a tip, I would say your lounge experience on that day would depends on the foot traffic that comes in into the lounge. if you are lucky, it will be relatively quiet and able to relax peacefully. If your time and date happens to have a lot of folks coming to the lounge, you will be hard pressed for seating (compounded if there are customers who put their bags on the already limited seats), a quiet ambience and worst if the cleaning staff are slow or nowhere to be found on that day. Such a scene is not unusual even in the airline lounges nowadays let alone 3rd party/PPL lounges. Just too many folks hitting the lounges now and many are just coming in with poor behaviors spoiling the experience for many. This post has been edited by hye: Apr 3 2025, 07:05 PM

QUOTE(myahsam @ Jul 11 2025, 06:17 PM) General question for Credit Card (Lounges access) with Travel Insurance. If I used the card to buy flight ticket for family, will all my family members get the coverage too? I'd advise you to read carefully and in detail the T&C and coverage information pertaining to Travel Insurance coverage provided by the credit card issuer and evaluate whether you will be happy with the coverage given. Understand the impact carefully should you opt (or not) for the given travel insurance. The same advice I'd give to everyone in this forum - buy a separate travel insurance for yourself and family. Only have minimal dependency or better none on credit card issuer Travel Insurance. This is a friendly advice - I'm not endorsing nor promoting any travel insurance from any parties.
