any idea why citibank premiermiles n hsbc vs can not be used in klia2? since i mostly fly from klia2, i don't even bring this 2 cards along when i travel. almost zero usage except for top up purpose.

i always used sc worldmiles card for klia2 access. their lounge access covers both klia and klia2

citi prestige is the best. complimentary pp.

Just as you cannot use the shower at gateway is you enter aerotel.....I tried.....

But if you have more than one card eligible, you can make 2 separate entries....

i have a low end citi reward card but free unlimited access at PPL KLIA only and i planing to apply another master card which provided free access at PPL KLIA 2 and kindly advice and thanks.

Think he is referring to PremierMiles? not exactly low end though.

I think he is referring to Citibank Reward Visa Signature Card which is unlimited Plaza Premium Lounge at KLIA

so far in my work life i've only enter lounge after immigration.
no point to enter before immigration because sometimes the immigration can be super duper long queue

klia2 i have no problem because we always use premium flex perks to use apec/diplomatic lane for immigration.

I believe they have some sort of contract with those limo / taxi, it takes time to re-negotiate.

my experience - no smelly, but the taxi will run a while then have a sudden break feeling, i guess is due to the engine.

So far, the rides I got still acceptable.

Have checked with PPL front desk at Aerotel.....when they swipe a CC, the bank informs them via the terminal the
"quota" (the exact word used by the staff) the card still has available....so yes, they know.....if zero quota, then I suppose you will be refused entry....or just pay.....

Btw, the 1hr room use is only for Maybank and Citi.....

When you take night flight, usually go airport directly after work / long travel / those sweating a lot (not comfortable for overnight sleep) / transit passengers from other airport (or bus/train) etc

Some banks now restrict to one entry per day, irrespective of how many eligible cards you have with that bank.....eg ambank....so you cannot use multiple same bank cards to bring guests ...
However, if you have multiple cards from different banks, then you can.....as each bank will only see one entry....

As far as ppl is concerned, the more entries they admit, the more income they make.....so they will act only if restricted by the policies of the bank....

In any case, was in ppl klia yesterday at 6pm, and it's still like a fish market.... probably you get more privacy and rest finding a quiet restaurant somewhere else....

in nanning now, only PP has access to Nanning lounge, LK they dont recognize. So still PP > LK... sigh

and the plat amex card from maybank? 3250 af....

HLB only gives 4x PP access.
2nd year onwards need to spend RM300k, earning only EM.
If PP is a must, I rather pay for Amex Plat AF.
Else I believe unlimited LK is good enough for most of us here.

3250 comes with 3x pp (1 card holder + 2 others)
So the fee is justified

10x entry per year independently from PP is about 1.2k per year.

I would point out that unless you only have PP - it is only really useful for airports outside of Malaysia (except for this klia2 discussion) as other cards would have already covered the KLIA lounges for free.

So a 10x entry = 10 return trips (unless the overseas lounge allows arrival customers too).

now if you find yourself needing to use Aerotel KLIA2 most of the time >.> then you would likely have hit status with AA to use the Red Lounge right?
