No, I would say PP and LK is almost equivalent, if you have same/similar benefit given by your CC.

You get separate PP card from Prestige, basically you can go in with Premiermiles and PP

The purpose of offering you lounge access is to force you bring along their card during travel.
Else why so nice offering you free lounge and food?
That's why most of the cards with lounge access are premium card, where they are tend to travel more often and spend in foreign currency.

Are you sure citigold can waive for prestige AF?
Auto waiver or need special request?

Entering Penang domestic or international departure?

Only Signature WMC (and Signature VI) can enter international departure.
You are lucky if you managed to go in without the above.

Ambank amended the rules in Feb, allowing Signature card to enter.
Maybe Penang PPL staffs are unable to identify the difference.
Until ambank audit in May (assumption) and force them to disallow entry.

That's why my card is kept in drawer since then.
Still keeping due to supp card for parents PPL access when go overseas.
