QUOTE(Ayambetul @ Oct 29 2025, 07:40 PM) Just out of curiosity, u r Malaysian? The moment u back from oversea u still have mood to go in PPL and chill than wanted to go home soonest possible? Actually i don't mind if not in a rush, for the free food + beer Long time ago used to drop by the Flight Club KLIA satellite for a set meal + drink if I don't have any check-in luggage to collect.

My nephew let his mother use his card for PPL entry and it works. Initially i was sceptical but when we went together to Bangkok then realise it could be done. I gave my card to my daughter ( other airport) but was refused entry. So sometimes also depend on staff .

QUOTE(gooroojee @ Oct 30 2025, 03:20 PM) was the issue the boarding pass or the card? For my daughter, card need to match with boarding pass. Anyway got her her own card. I went Vietnam a few months ago. It seems now they dont allow to scan boarding pass twice but can scan non card holders boarding pass. This post has been edited by magika: Oct 30 2025, 03:47 PM

The name in the boarding pass must match the card. Otherwise not allowed. Each bank will only allow one entry each pass, so you cannot "scan" the same boarding pass multiple times with cards from the same bank. Different bank ok.

I have witness my self my sister using his son card to visit ppl. I forgot which airport but you can't use same boarding pass even with different banks. N my nephew told me it's not only once but quite a number of times with different cards. Edit: Now I remember Vietnam Tan Song Nhat airport lounge won't accept same boarding pass eve with 2 different bank cards. Hanoi airport also dont allow scanning same boarding pass twice but allow different boarding pass to be scanned . This post has been edited by magika: Oct 30 2025, 09:18 PM

My daughter( have own card) tried to enter Aerotel Klia2 with her mother cimb card and got rejected. However managed to enter Hong Kong ppl. It goes to show that it is unpredictable and only using own card is guaranteed entry.

Back then when Uob supplemental card entitled access to PPL, my mom went to KLIA 1 PPL, the lady told her, she can't enter the UOB Private Lounge. She's not the person who would like speak up, so she just settled for the PPL area.

It has been so long since I went to PPL KLIA2, as I hardly travel from this terminal. This time I need it as I will be going to SG for a short trip. I will be going with my two other friends, and I intend to sign them in. I checked, and it seems HLB VI, MBB Merc-Benz/KF Plat and Alliance VI are eligible for KLIA2. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Is there anything else that I need to take note like min. spending etc? As I hardly go to PPL so I lost touch with this kind of information, usually J class in KLIA. Also, for Changi... Since I will be travelling with AirAsia, I guess it is the T4. In addition to the above cards, I also have UOB VI/PME. I guess I should have enough cards to cover all 3 pax in Changi? Not checking in luggage, so not sure which PPL (KLIA2 and Changi) is convenient in this case. Appreciate your kind advice and suggestion. This post has been edited by fruitie: Nov 21 2025, 04:21 PM

Changi T4 is the ppl blossom lounge departure airside. (Note arrival departure separation in T4). This post has been edited by limeuu: Nov 22 2025, 10:58 AM
