Just to correct my understanding, can access PPL at KLIA1 & 2, even arrived at airport?
*
PPL at KLIA 1 can be accessed only after immigration. If one is not flying internationally via KLIA1, it’s impossible to get in to the area.

understood. normally I use lounge before flight. So based on discussion, it seem can use the boarding pass after flight to lounge.
Also accessed to PPL at KLIA 2 (before immigration)

Let say, I have arrived KLIA 1, can I go to lounge with arrival boarding pass?
If go KLIA2, go lounge with the arrival boarding pass.

A bit confused on entry on which boarding pass to use.
*
Yes can. Arrival boarding pass is allowed as well. But you may need to leave your luggage at carousel or collect it later if you use it at the PPL same terminal as your arrival. For other terminal, they shouldn’t be this strict as well.
Unless any rule has been changed that arrival boarding pass is not allowed. I don’t think so.

However for departures, you will need to account in the time you will spend to do all these especially if you are catching flights in another terminal.

Honestly, if arrivals I just want to go back home as soon as possible after traveling. I don’t even want to stay any longer in the airport because exhausted and all. laugh.gif I only tried once many years ago at KLIA2 when Green Market was still existed.

Also if you notice, only PPL in Malaysia is congested as heck.
I checked , not much credit card offers worldwide / regional PPL access, but there is a lot of card offering local PPL access (KLIA2 specially)

Banks knew that by lowering the requirement, most of their client only use it at KL / Domestic flight.
Maybe they able to brokered a very low entry price (afterall the food is like 3 star hotel-ish, not even offering seafood / stuff hahahaha)
*
I haven’t been following the local PPL scene as much as I used to. I remember more cards were offering access to PPL KLIA1 compared to KLIA2. So it’s not the case now? Oh well, KLIA2 has more PPLs than KLIA1 right? I hardly fly with AA these days so not sure what’s happening in KLIA2.

For KLIA1, is PPF still the best PPL? With Dragon Pass, I should have access to Sky Suite and Travel Club as well. Otherwise I will stick to PPF with CIMB TWE for my upcoming trip.

For me yes, I usually choose between PPF or Golden Lounger, whichever has lesser crowd. Been to Travel Club twice, may b I enter at wrong timing, very crowded & noisy with lots of Indians from India.  doh.gif
*
Thanks, I will stick to PPF then. I'm surprised you would choose between GL or PPF; the choice would be obvious if you had access to GL. Whenever I fly with MH or the OneWorld J class, I will go straight to GL and won't bother about PPF. tongue.gif

waiting for ambank enrich cc to access GL

Is this confirmed? Knowing AmBank surely requires a minimum spending before one is allowed to access.

And they say times are bad…. You wouldn’t be able to guess from the way people are flying premium classes huh!?
*
My exact thought. Clearly, I wasn't one of them because I redeemed my tickets. tongue.gif
GL still offers me a better experience nevertheless. Even the domestic GL in KLIA was not bad when I went the other day, as I had to transit in BKI before flying to TPE.

Unfortunately, if fly domestically from KLIA, there is no PPL in KLIA that allows domestic flyers.

Any cards can use in Suvarnabhumi airport?

CIMB TWE, Alliance VI and I’m sure there are more cards but I leave it to others to share. I can only think of these two for now. tongue.gif

I was at PPF yesterday before catching my flight to BKK. My last visit was on May 20th, a waitress served my ordered meal that time. Yesterday they used a robot to send the food to our table. laugh.gif Not complaining but there’s a change now. biggrin.gif

AFAIK should be ok as long its diff UOB card and card holder must be there. Bare in mind, for UOB Visa Infinate they actually look at ur dragon pass app instead of the card for complementary entry.
*
Some banks don't allow. I wanted to swipe two MBB cards to admit my another guest earlier and the PPL asked for another bank card but luckily I have other eligible cards with me.

For UOB VI specifically it's ok. like another forumer mentioned, it's bound to DragonPass so it's not considered from same bank. i was able to enter using UOB World + VI (via DragonPass) few months back.
*
Good to know that as I also have the UOB VI and PRVI Miles. No chance to use DragonPass yet as I'm always using CIMB TWE for PPF.

the annual limit for credit card lounge access is it recount whenever we renew/waive the card annual fee?

Most of the cards follow calendar year which means it’s reset every year’s 1st Jan.

Just came back from Mnl. NAIA, really, is something else. Every lounge had a wait list, at PAGSS they even put extra plastic chairs. Ended up spending the time at my gate instead, that was the only place with free seats.
*
Their lounge is so tiny and useless to be honest.

Oh well. Yes, only Golden Lounge but I guess that’s not what he meant if using UOB card.
