thank you. Emirates lounge is also near Gates C21-C27, I can confirm biggrin.gif
btw, you have used WorldMiles to enter this Plaza Premium First Lounge before?

how is the environment, facilities, and quality & varieties of food compare to the PPL that is located opposite of Flight Club?
*
Don’t have WM sad.gif

Normally use VI for Flight club as they have latte / mocha 😂

Entered it once many years ago while taking Qatar Business class. But since they’ve refurnished, believe it should be much better as it was better than PPL previously.

got complimentary beer/wine/alcohol?
Qatar BC guest can get complimentary access to PPFL?
*
Yeap... got all those complimentary drinks. And yes Qatar BC offers that still. My colleague went to that lounge.

WM can enter PPL without issue btw.

QUOTE(digidigi @ Jun 8 2019, 02:23 PM)
back from Hong Kong last month, the entry to plaza premium lounge is super long q, the next door plaza premium first can get immediate entry
*
Immediate entry but slow serving for meals.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 8 2019, 02:33 PM)
So another PPL in KLIA? Can try soon with my WM. Travelling soon. icon_idea.gif
I always try the PPL opposite of Flight Club.
*
PPFL is there long time already. But flight club is more convenient for quick meal and group seatings. Also food wise is acceptable with coffee to my liking 😂

Thank you for your sharing! I am wondering which HLB cards give PPL access
*
Visa inf. and business platinum.

Limited access and only within Msia which is rather useless.

great thread!
went into the BIG lounge at KLIA2 the other day, was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.
will need to come back again in the future.
*
Till u go into ppl overseas, it will tell u how much basic big lounge is. 😂

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Jun 26 2019, 07:46 PM)
How did you get into BIG lounge?
*
Buy premium package flight. Honestly ppl is still better in terms of food wise. But their seating is more comfy and lesser crowd.

QUOTE(mavistan89 @ Jun 27 2019, 11:50 AM)
Any idea what lounge is better in KLIA and KLIA2? Is the food free or chargeable? I never go into any lounge before. As some told me is chargeable if using priority pass
*
Which pp are you holding? If alliance one then it seems to be chargeable in the next two months.

Otherwise it should be free. Need more details for the pp you’re holding.

I think it's normal WMC. International Departure.

Lucky two times ? So weird!!!
*
PsB account holder will have the world “Priority Banking” stamping just below the name.

If it doesn’t have the word then it’s just the normal one.

And yes. You’re lucky to be given access. It should be chargeable 😂

I’ve no problem using the card in Malaysia lounge.. as long as surname match..
If I rmb correctly, the slip print out follow card display name.. just same as the credit card slip that we get from merchant..
*
Yes. They print out the name in accordance to the name printed on card.

In Australia, you can’t use if the name doesn’t match.

are there different lk programme?
i thought it is same like pp, everywhere is the same.
*
That’s correct as mentioned by Charlesj.

Lk allows the bank to select which lounge access they want unlike pp which is a blanket access for all.

So they only pick those common use ones and drop off those less used ones to reduce cost.

QUOTE(charlesj @ Oct 8 2019, 12:04 PM)
I think it depends on different bank allocation.
I learnt about this when comparing HSBC (when they are still with LK previously) and SC.
HSBC has a lot less lounge access compare to SC.

Entered PPL at Heathrow. The food not bad, serving Thai curry and vegetable curry. But it costs 20 pounds to shower. Quite expensive water... by they way how much our local PPL charge for shower?
*
Which one you’ve entered?

Both T2 and T3 arrivals can barely fit 20 people. Only have less than 10 tables.

Been flying in an out Heathrow and the staffs refuse to allow multiple different cards access.

Only acceptable decent size is T2 departures.

If using LoungeKey or PP, they don’t check tickets

which lounge did you entered?
Have you tried T3 arrivals?
Are there check ticket?
For arrival can enter? or must be departure from heathrow only can use?
*
Doesn’t matter departure or arrival. Both can enter. And yes. They check for tickets. (When I use LoungeKey they don’t check- they swipe right away)

Enter PPL arrival lounge. The one outside the arrival hall, which u literally have to exit the building on the left. 😂

Ticket is from Heathrow fly to other countries only?
If I arrive from other countries can I use the used ticket/boarding pass to enter?
*
As long the ticket is valid for the day. I’ve tried on arrival. (Ie: ticket from Copenhagen to Heathrow). But my colleague on departure went to same lounge to meet me seems to be ok.

For departure lounge they will be after security checks.

Yes, after primary holder got the card, switch 2ndary to primary and apply for another card.
Try to walk in to a premier banking centre and talk to them face to face.
I think such loophole, they won't tell you via phone.
*
Last time it works.

Now not anymore as the monthly end month balance aum must >=250k

Went to PPL KLIA 2 with 2 friends.

Managed to get in with my PP and LK.

Then at Bangkok airport, was told by the receptionist that only can use either PP or LK, cannot use both at the same time (both under my name).

Is it Bangkok only, or PPL is being lenient?
*
It is KLIA/2 only milking the banks’ sponsored entries as cash cows.

Went few overseas Lounge and almost all doesn’t allow.
