Talk about having these free limo rides from CCs, I really don't understand why banks don't allow us to claim for Grab/ MY car etc where it is cheaper, easier, more convenient and of all, they usually come in better cars. I really fret taking taxis from the Taxi Booth at KLIA 2 arrival hall where you have to purchase a ticket and then drag your bags all the way down to LG to get a ride in a smelly, old taxi. For my destination, its Rm93.90 (SCB pays Rm80) Vs Grab's Rm65 + Rm7 Toll fee. I mean banks could also save a bit if they us to claim rides on ride sharing apps.
*
Give them some time, probably during next change.
We already see HLB Emirates giving free Grab for now, other CC may follow.
I believe they have some sort of contract with those limo / taxi, it takes time to re-negotiate.

Nice summary you have there. What about RHB VI? Is it any good?
*
Rhb vi has unlimited access to PPL in Msia & Sg.
However it is limited to 1000 entries (every month), first come first serve.
Dont feel like taking the risk, is good to have anyway.
Also, rhb vi has higher income requirement - 150k, hence it wasn't listed in the earlier post.

Hi All, want to ask about CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite credit card.
If me and my wife have joint CIMB Preferred account, and she holding supplementary card, her entry is free or chargable?
*
Do search for "CIMB" under this thread, if you haven't done so.
We discussed about it about a month ago.
If you are not convinced / clear, probably calling CS will be good.
Do keep us updated once you have tested yourself.

min income requirement is just a guideline which i dont think they follow strictly.
if you have a good payment record and dsr is good, they will approve it likely.

my income is way below 200k mark but i have got 3 mc world elite with min 250k per annum requirement.
*
Good to know that we can still apply without hitting the income requirement.
What are the world elite options we have here?
RHB Emirates, CIMB Enrich, Citi Prestige...
Anymore?

Recently went to Penang PPL. 3 adult 2 kids (6 & 4yo).
I told them I have 4 cards, can you allow 1 free kids (4yo)?
They ask me to show the cards first.
MBB VI, RHB VS, RHB WMC (purposely take both) and wife RHB.
As expected, same bank not accepted, ask for another card, pull out my KF Amex, ok.
End up they return my MBB VI, swipe for 3 adults only (kids free).
I guess I was lucky, as someone else have to swipe for kids.
4yo I guess no problem, but allowing 6yo is quite surprising.
Thanks PPL!

Kf amex and MBB vi not same bank?....

Purposely tried that, but they accept.
Maybe they are not aware or no specific instruction from MBB.
Nevertheless, they didn't charge my MBB VI.

Ooo.. same as citi prestige... the citi website already updated to lk but the tnc is still stating pp.
I hope my pp is still active until next anniversary
*
Oh, Prestige also switch into LK
But benefits for LK and PP should be quite identical right?

lk only 1x per airport.
pp was unlimited per airport.

i used to visit all available lounge in each airport with pp but seems like i cant do it anymore.
pp is only for lounge visit.
lk has lounge visit and some discount in spa and shopping.
*
Thanks for the info.
I wasn't aware the LK limitations.
Yup, would like to visit all available lounges for each airport.

I see. Thanks.

when I first google, I saw the HSBC (UK) offer this product.
*
Msia, so far only 3 banks are offering World Elite cards, as mentioned above.

CIMB Enrich World Elite (AF RM1200) - unlimited access to MAS Golden Lounge (I think while flying MAS), points redeem only Enrich.
HLB Emirates World Elite (AF RM2500) - 4x Emirates KLIA Lounge + 1x LK access (worldwide), redeem only Emirates miles.
Citi aka Prestige (AF RM1000) - unlimited lounge access with LK (worldwide), redeem point for various FFP.

It's written on the voucher and on the card features, nothing new.
*
Exactly.
This is "MAS" Golden lounge, same for other airlines business class lounge.
It is eligible for Business class flying passengers on oneworld flights.
For economy flying passengers (I think with any flights) with Enrich Gold/Plat or oneworld Emerald/Sapphire.

Enrich is giving additional "voucher" and it is limited to those flying MAS.
I think this clause is completely acceptable in order to promote their flight.

The silver status only last one year, but I don’t have any plan to fly emirates, it bring zero benefit to me.... and if next time flying emirate will be using the free point given to fly premium cabin which have complimentary lounge access..... haha, so it’s like pointless.

But one good things with silver is can link to Marriott, which can give late checkout until 4pm subject to avaibility.

Btw have u got your sign up bonus d?
*
Yup, got my sign up bonus last month.
Purposely opt to fly Emirates (pay for economy) to fully utilize the Silver status (and keep my KF/AM for future use).
Only have enough Emirates miles in maybe 2021 for F redemption.

just curious, whats the point to bath before boarding unless depart direct from office, or transit? no need reply if u/others think its too personal 😁, besides we have too mane access.
*
When you take night flight, usually go airport directly after work / long travel / those sweating a lot (not comfortable for overnight sleep) / transit passengers from other airport (or bus/train) etc

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 17 2019, 12:22 PM)
They are probably going to send someone to bang on your room door to wake you up.  laugh.gif

Or they charge your card for another hour you exceeded.  tongue.gif

Any volunteer to try and report here?

Lol... Will try it next round. No more vacations at the time being. Market not good. laugh.gif

Having said that, I usually go to the airport from home. So no issues as I shower at home before leaving.
Take this. Got your own bathroom and you can shower en route to your destination.  tongue.gif

Residence is beyond reach la.
Etihad Apartment already has shower.
Same for Emirates A380 first.

Hi.. May I know how was your ppl experience in Taipei? Did you eventually use the supp card to sign in your son in law?  I plan to sign my mom in as well but using my card..
*
Was in Taipei last month but too bad I had an early flight and no time going for PPL.
Supposed to test out 4 cards for 5 pax (3 adults + 2 kids; only 2 card holders).

If you have 2 cards entitled to go in, as long as under different bank, I would say it is relatively safe to sign in your mum.
You have to be there to sign her in, name must tally for both CC and boarding pass.
If you are having Ambank CC, it is best to supp a card for her, she can visit PPL by her own without you traveling together.
