Hello all, I'm currently driving Toyota Vios A/T(First Generation).
I've done some engine mod during the overhaul of my old 2xxk engine, the stock pistons were replaced with the largest pistons available and port and polish were done too.
So based on these engine mods, I'm wondering what would be the optimal exhaust setup, or, the optimal exhaust piping size for my car?
I'm looking for a smooth FULL RPM RANGE improvement, but leaning a little bit more to the PICK-UP side, because I drive 50% city and 50% highway.
Any reply is appreciated, thank you guys!  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

If AT 1.6, can consider going for the exhaust system build below

* 4-1 Extractor
* Auto Bullet
* S-Flow + Exhaust Tip or Straight Flow Muffler
* For piping you decide yourself, the size should be around 1.6 to 1.8 I think .....

1.8' pipe should be sufficient, you're mildly modified.
Extractor get the longest you can, as you want accleration not top end power.
Bullet & muffler, up to you how quiet you want it but remember it comes with a penalty of restriction.

What's the different between long extractor and short extractor?

Thank you so much for the info here bro.
The recommended setup here is actually similar with what I'm currently having, it's just that my piping is 2inch from head to toe, and it caused lacks of torque.
But I'm not 100% sure if it's all because of the piping itself, part of the reason could be de-cat?

As I know, if your car engine CC is not that big, but your exhaust piping is too big for it, your car will lack of power.
