I have only engaged Q-Windows, it's expensive but since you said it was the same price, maybe it's worth it. The build quality is good. I can't comment further as I have yet to stay in my house but noise cancellation is superb (double glazed).

Optima, on the other hand, I wanted to buy theirs too but after a few engagements over WhatsApp (I stay far away from their office), the guy in charge didn't get back to me regarding the quote. So I chose some other company.

Used Q-Windows and their services were excellent and they did what they said it would do.

Build quality exceeded my expectation and after 3 years it still operates as per the day it was installed.

I did try to deal with Optima Windows but I guess the SA saw me as not a potential buyer for his products and did not want to entertain me, therefore it was a no deal or quotation.
yop da great

I tried both window, I would say Q-windows has better quality. Q-windows is more expensive than Optima though. Are you sure you are getting the same spec from both optima and q-windows since you say they offer the same price?

Seems like everyone got the same treatment from Optima Windows. I thought it was because I'm from a far away state that it was not worth it to pursue my request.

I was at their HomeDec booth talking to one of them. In the middle of the conversation, he just left. Not like left the booth, he was still there doing nothing, but he walked away.... ohmy.gif
Maybe it was just a misunderstanding, I dunno

Then when they were at my place installing my door and window, I ask them if they could quote me a few more doors. The guy made some measurements but I never got a quote from them.

After like many months down the road, I intro my same floor neighbor to them. I took the opportunity to ask if their guy can come do a window for me when they come measure my neighbors house. They never did come or call.

I actually recommended two neighbors to them and they did end up using them. Their stuff is really good, no doubts, but their attitudes.... rclxub.gif
They wont even entertain existing customers..

once you get pass Optima sales person, their installation team is really good and professional
i compared them to my neighbor that installed panther - huge difference
thats why i still recommend Optima, unless of course you can afford Q windows tongue.gif

Q-Windows is using Aluminium Frame while Optima is using uPVC if I'm not mistaken. uPVC have issue with degrading color with UV (sunlight).

mine is a door. if you want to cut noise, you have to ask for double glazed

Yes. Double glazed with lamination in the middle.
Just trying to get honest user opinion.

Question: does Optima provide sales and installation services for homes outside of KL/Selangor area? Such as the northern region (Penang/Perak etc).
