 Help with gas tank cap !, cant open

Glad that you manage to open it without incident. Make sure to maintain it so it won't get stuck again.

The keys for Vulcan always needs to be straighten from time to time. Easy fix with a leatherman

Leatherman too small.

so after u force it with wrench, then can turn like normal without wrench?? just liddat?

wellllllllll, after successfully opening it for the first time, i removed the entire gas cap.
clean it with all the lubricants i have(WD40, brake spray, some pencil shave,.... whatever i have).
removed all the gunk and skunks.
reinstall it and it work as it should.

giving it a try tomorrow when i install the battery. hopefully the damn thing starts. blush.gif

its a 250. probably the fuse got blown when i put in the battery.
the lights not working too.

had to stop buying lubricants atm, too many cans lying around.
but thanks for the recommendation. got a small can of some lubricant under my seat for unforeseen circumstances. biggrin.gif
