QUOTE(attw @ Mar 9 2022, 11:31 AM) Just sold off my A52S 5G a couple days ago after nearly three months of usage. It’s a great midrange phone with good balance in terms of performance, battery life and camera. Software updates are not the fastest but I did get and install Android 12 a few weeks ago and everything was flawless. New units about RM1599 range nowThe only downside of the phone is the retail price of RM1,899 is a stretch. If you can get it for RM1,500 or below then it’s a steal Oh, and there’s a bit about One UI getting more “bloaty” these days, but that’s a conversation for a different day |

QUOTE(lambox105 @ Jan 4 2023, 09:19 PM) You better check the back housing of the phones and also condition of power button/volume button Mine the back housing kopek keluar sendiri because adhesive doesnt work anymore My relative one power button and volume button GG QUOTE(Milfuntastic @ Jan 5 2023, 04:22 AM) It will be nice if A series uses dynamic amoled too. Dynamic Amoled iscreally good. Better than super amoled If compare top range A-series price wise to other competitors, Sam$ung really sucking consumer wallet over specifications and quality.2022 onwards without chargers and plastic screen protectors... and furthermore on those low quality charging cables which plastic caps can easily disengaged few months of usage. IMO, price could have maintain for 2022 models (around 2021 price range) Let's observe what Sam$ung offers for upcoming 2023 models |

QUOTE(lambox105 @ Jan 5 2023, 07:56 PM) After the debacle in December for my A52s and S20FE 5G (A52s kopek, s20FE 5G deformed, not covered under warranty), I will say no to S##S### Feel you bro, SameS#!+DD huh?... atleast that is what IMO from consumer point.I rather have shall-me than going back to S##S### again And also, O##O, V#V#, O##P### getting much more expensive... RM1.2k for low range... My current A51 has a faulty WiFi after previous major OneUI update, but after 2023 A13 OneUI 5 seems to back to norm (fingercross.gif) (Got this was from my elderly folks) |

QUOTE(John Chaser @ Feb 12 2023, 06:20 PM) Genuine question, would you get the A73 for RM1800 or get the upcoming A54 at a rumored Rm2400? With Sams A54 predict to be smaller in size but don't think will be at RM2.4K ( as it will be using Sams chips )Would the extra Android version upgrade be enough for you? Source: Android Police Sams A73 drop more or less RM16XX now |

Believe many manufacturere did not pick on SD 7 Gen 1 and kept using the older SD 778 (even on current A73)
Suspect SD 7 Gen 1 has a major disadvantage OR maybe selling at a premium price point since not much phone offer such chipset. Samsung using Exynos cheapset should be more affordable for consumers but that was not the case with A53. |

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Mar 21 2023, 01:12 AM) Major disadvantage was 7 Gen 1 was made by Samsung, whereas older 778G was made by TSMC. They could have remained using 778G for the A53 like they did for the A52s, but you know... gotta keep Exynos alive somehow. Yea or probably 778+ like that Nothing Phone 1. Major turn off when A53 made available.. furthermore kill off A53S.Sams promise OS updates for A53 to further ensure their consumer will be taken well care. SwarmTroll liked this post
