Samsung One UI still needs to tone down a lot of its "fixed" background services...



Having 8GB RAM is sort of the minimum for any Samsung One UI devices...

If a lot of these redundant background services can be disabled/optimized, pretty sure the lesser energy consumption there'll be...

Below is the two-day usage with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS enabled all the time :



I must say that the A71 is the half-brother of LeMoto P2... LOL... The DNA is there but not perfect due to One UI background services...

8 hours deep sleep is working well with doze, temperature and signal quality sustained as designed:



0.4% per hour of stand-by drain is considered very good... Again, if One UI background services are toned down, it may be lowered to 0.2% per hour...

Exy9611 is 10nm while Snap730 is 8nm...

Awaiting for Apple Silicon with 3nm... Hopefully by then the notchless iPhone is a reality...

Yes, mobile data was on all the time... there's one good feature where the Wi-Fi will auto off after we leave home and auto connect to home Wi-Fi...



Hence, the energy consumption is not wasted during Wi-Fi turns on all the time... nevertheless, for this feature to work, GPS/location needs to be on all the time as well...

Even the Exy9810 also not energy efficient...

Me hate the swipe-palm to take screenshot feature in One UI... horrible feature that is not reliable...the moment we touch the palm on the screen, the whole page wobbles and shaking up and down...

Luckily got One Hand Operation+ apps to get screenshot and turn screen off using one finger swipe:
