mediocre camera - dont care. got iPhone for that
notch - not much options nowadays
exynos - as if snapdragon counterpart can offer better package as a whole at this price range to this day

but one thing is worrying is bloatware and ads. well not so much on the crappy apps that they put. but if its plagued with ads and no way of disabling. that....can be a major deal breaker

so the question now is...does a50 have ads?

It probably has ads. Even the S10 has ads but you can turn off/disable the Samsung Push Service to stop them ads from appearing in the notification bar.

hopefully wont be as painful as disabling xiaomeme

just got it - A50 of course, better display and One UI is enough to win my decision making

only issue i had so far is when playback twitch, the performance macam not smooth

its weird that this phone is supporting HD playback have performance issue

tot it was 1080p issue, but then when i use 720p display...the video looks upscaled and pecah lol

other than that, quite satisfy...hopefully can serve its job as a secondary phone for at least 2 years

are you referring to the A30 or A50?
*
whoops!

sorry didnt notice this tered is combined into multiple samsung phones

the device is A50

but now i tried again, the 1080p HD looks smooth on twitch

not sure if this is even related to the adaptive display settings that i enabled (it was disabled prior to above posting)

nice, how is the Amoled screen perform?
*
so far im quite liking what i see, plus points for having dark mode UI. it just makes the amoled serves even better.

but i'm still on experimenting with the display settings,
just so that i could have a better battery life

lets see how it goes on a few days later on
one thing i like about ONE UI is that i can uninstall unneeded google play shit apps

sadly im dont have enough energy for the day to delete facebook, so just going to disable it for a moment
and coming from iphone 7, my hand still hurts from holding it after long period...take some time for body to get adjusted

speaker is quite loud for audio, but for a better sound experience get a headphone(abuse that audio jack to its fullest potential)

its samsung first attempt at notch design but they already doing it right....other OEM notch display doesn't even have an even curve at each corner and side vs top bezels is not even symmetry

havent test charging yet, will let it dieded then charge full

Guys, planning to buy A50. Gonna migrate from my Mi A1.

Hows the performance so far in term of gaming, camera and the UI?

Worth the change?
*
for 2 year cycle? worth it

but if can keep using A1, then go ahead with that

Wondering how better it'll be once updated. A50 users kindly report here.
*
its amazing!!!

the new fingerprint is improved, can feel its unlocked faster now

system will inform you to remove old FP, and then register with new FP

first time using OEM device, and im solely impressed with their updates in this first six months

hope they keep this form for at least until 2 years

Hi, how is the battery life on the A50? Good?
*
4k battery

played underlords, constant app testing(worked in IT dept), poke mongo

EoD still have around 20-30 percent

ok la

but for longevity, you should care for personal batt management. 4k battery also no use if you non stop play games then charge then play games again

i got android 10 update few days back then on my A50

quite surprising that it was this quick, out of nowhere...was expecting next month

after using it for 3 days, im still taking some time to get used with gesture navigation(owning an iphone so swipe left from side to go back is something welcomed). all the matters of mind now

i noticed some UI changes here and there, okay i would say. but the push noti at lock screen is too high the opacity. hard to see sometimes. youre in luck if using dark wallpapers.

minor things that is useful for me is support for native screen recording, being an app tester is super useful to show bugs and everything. and battery life seems like have a smol improvement.

overall good job to samsung software development team

Which telco is SIM1 and SIM 2?

RCS is telco dependent... as of now TuneTalk (MNVO) does NOT support RCS while P1 webe UniFi Mobile #BEBAS does...
*
i am one redone

i was under the logic of since redone using celcom line so its supported by default
