The A series is now the entry level phones that replaces Samsung's J series.

does this means that M series is midrange? if A series is entry level.

btw, im using samsung s10 for myself and bought a A30 for my son.

yesterday tried the A30 camera, not bad, its just that when changing from normal lens to wide angle lens, the transition is very slow. and autofocus also not that fast either. still acceptable though.
ive also installed a glass sp (cheap one) on top of the preinstalled sp, touch responsiveness going south. in the end, scrap the glass sp, lucky that i did not take off the normal sp before applying the glass sp.

overall, i give it 9/10 if comparing with other phone with similar price point.

Actually, I would think the A series would be more of midrange and the M series would be the entry level, but the A series has entry level phones too. It's confusing, hahaha...

probably samsung would like to go head to head with xiaomi product line up. each model sometimes got minor differences. e.g. A30 vs M20.
oh well, more options is better, even though it makes us harder to decide. confused.gif confused.gif

Yeah, exactly. And it's nice that Samsung is now putting OLED screens into their midrange phones as well. The future is bright for us consumers smile.gif

yup. the screen is gorgeous. and the phone handles game pretty well, no complains yet. A30 is priced at a sweet spot for backup phone or child's phone. in my opinion, its either this spec or go straight to flagship region.

Guys, planning to buy A50. Gonna migrate from my Mi A1.

Hows the performance so far in term of gaming, camera and the UI?

Worth the change?

Yeah, exactly. An AMOLED screen + 4000mAh battery for RM799. Pretty good value.

i dont own A50 to explain the details of the phone. tried Mi A1 for couple of days previously.

in short,

gaming: A50 should outperform Mi A1, based on the new processor, display, and memory
camera: this is definitely not a strong points for Mi A1, definitely will give the win to A50
UI: if u prefer clean UI, a straight win for MiA1, its just that the A50 is still ok if compared to previous gen Samsung UI

for the price range: other options would be pocophone.

Try restarting the phone, restarting the modem or both. If it still doesn’t work then maybe no choice but to do a factory reset on the phone.

Reboot router, forget the network you try to connect in your A50, then reconnect, see if it works.

I have A50.

Mine differ... Can connect to Wifi however, it says "The internet connection may not be available". All other device can connect perfectly to the same WIFI. Just A50 got this message.

However solve it temporarily with manually set the IP address.

But, I thought maybe the router (DLink DIR 850L) is the culprit..Or anyone else face the same problem?
