Oh. Accidental drop. Pretty good if M51 screen didn't break from chest height...

QUOTE(pinsarsi @ Oct 15 2020, 06:01 PM) Am seriously considering the A71. Any recommendations as to where to buy it from? Can't go out because of the CMCO, so probably online purchase. As long as they supply the official invoice, warranty follows invoice date. So, we may lose 3 to 5 days from the date of invoice due to delivery period. But, if anything goes wrong the day we receive the parcel, can always return for full refund (7 or 14 days; read the seller's description). The thing is most sellers on lazada say the box will be opened for checking and warranty registration before shipping, something which I am sceptical about. I see many reviews of warranty being registered earlier than the purchase date. The official Samsung store on Lazada does not seem to reply to my inquires about this as well. Is it normal for sellers to do warranty registration? Can the buyers do it instead? Do you guy have any trusted sellers that don't give this kind of issues? Much appreciate any feedback. |

The SPen is very useful if we know the purpose.
Usually, me use the SPen (Galoxxx Note5) when to select a text which a long-tap using finger doesn't work. Sure this can be solved using Google Lens but the convenience of direct selection using the SPen is very convincing. U should try the Note10L to experience the SPen's capability and benefits. |

QUOTE(allomicro @ Oct 17 2020, 06:23 AM) Hmm, interesting. Any other features of the S-Pen that are useful? There's plethora vix on YT:Also, my concern with the Note 10 L is the older chipset, especially regarding battery life. By the way, you are using a A71 now right? ( I notice from your previous post) What made you switch from the Note 5 to A71? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The reason me chose A71 is due to the Note5 is aging and showing its signs to die anytime soon. Instead of getting the Note10L, me got the A71 becoz of the "quality" of Snapdragon SoC in terms of modem, ISP, efficiency and various bad experiences and complaints of the Exynos SoC in the news... Let's hope the Note20L will be non-Exy for our market... |

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 17 2020, 08:28 AM) Bro, out of topic. GSAM battery won't work properly for me. It seems to reset everytime I open it. Am I supposed to leave it running in the background and not close it? 1) App info > Clear data.2) App info > allow Permission for both Storage & Telephone. 3) Whitelist in the battery/power settings. 4) Lock the app to run in the background. 5) Reboot device. 6) Put widget in the homescreen. 7) Tap the widget and let it runs in the background. |

QUOTE(ToGMochi @ Oct 17 2020, 12:35 PM) Hello. Just bought the A71 for my mom yesterday. Hopefully it's a good choice. Any A71 user here can suggest where to find tempered glass and nice casing? Right now using the pre-installed sp and stock back case that come with it. TQ Me use Nillkin CP+ PRO:» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « It's better for you to bring the phone and the stock casing to shop to buy the best tempered glass. This is because some tempered glass is fixed all the way to the edge and the stock casing will lift the tempered glass. Better let the shop fix the tempered glass while the stock casing is still intact. Alternatively, get this Nillkin Nature casing: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This casing is tempered glass friendly because the grips are at the frame of the device and not encroaching too much on the screen panel. So, any tempered glass will work with this casing. This post has been edited by azhar75: Oct 17 2020, 01:04 PM |
