Oh well... Mr. Roh cannot satisfy every1...

Few weeks ago I asked for advice here about getting a low-midrange Samsung. Most people recommended the M52 5G. Now reporting after a few weeks of use;

Good:
It performs quite well for my basic tasks. 120Hz refresh rate makes everything seem smoother than it is, and the 8GB of RAM definitely helps keeping apps working in the background. Samsung's OneUI also a lot better than the old TouchWiz. Fingerprint reader is fast. Comes with charger in the box. Also like that they included Knox (I thought only A and S models would get it) so I can use the Secure Folder functionality to isolate some web browsing under VPN. Also like the flexibility that Android offers, with F-Droid/Droid-ify repos and apps like Bromite, Newpipe, Infinity, Aegis and Neko. Oh, and I like that we can buy Google Play cards with cash in our local 7-11, instead of going through the hassle of creating a US account to buy iTunes Gift cards with BTC/XMR online for iOS devices.

Bad:
Screen gets grainy on it's lowest brightness setting. Privacy is rubbish unless you spend many days disabling stuff, tweaking permissions and setting up proper filtering (my NextDNS logs look crazy now with all the domains being blocked from this phone), of course I'm not expecting GrapheneOS levels of privacy here, but this thing spies on my activity so much I feel it should be in jail for sexually harassing me. A lot of apps also don't respect the "Ask every time" permission (eg: MySejahtera location access). I also hate how Android's Private DNS feature hijacks your VPN (I prefer iOS implementation here).

Overall:
I'm not really into customizing launchers and themes. Maybe I'll get into it later. Also not big on gaming (I only play Kairosoft games), so cannot comment on that. Camera also no comment because I only use it for scanning documents and QR codes. For day to day use, more than enough. I think won't bother getting any iPhone's in future and just replace midrange Android models every 2 years or so. Will channel most of my mobile money to my iPad, since that's my primary device now.

None... buy S20FE instead...

But, if we have the budget in placed, clearly the S21FE is "overall-ly" better...

Not my Exynos S10+. I turn off the connection during the night and it drains about 15%. Same shit even after changing battery.

Try to avoid Lazada overseas seller as there are custom issues nowadays.

Pocket not so deep for this budget phone, especially when I am getting the faster/higher end microSD so that 4K recording is not choppy. Maybe just 256GB so that have total of 512GB (256GB internal +256GB external). Feels weird if I spent half the amount of a RM1k phone for external storage.

Surprisingly, the fingerprint scanner on this A52s really works like a charm, especially the fact is that I am using some cheapo normal RM6 tempered glass (vs my UV glue tempered glass screen protector on my S22 Ultra). I am envious on how easy it is to unlock my wife's A52s with my finger. As for my S22U, the conditions must be right for example, finger or screen cannot be too clean (like when I just washed my hand or swiped clean my phone's screen with alcohol wet wipes).

That said, my wife actually feels the A52s is snappier and faster than her S21 (Exynos). Haha, maybe because the A52s has a Snapdragon or maybe her S21 is lagging because her storage is completely full

Galoxxx A71 is more fragile becoz 3 dedicated slots... those thin plastic frames are easily cracked if we press the SIMs too hard... there's a technique to put the SIMs safely...
