Previous firmware was better when it comes to fingerprint scanner. Now the scanner failed to read my right thumb 100% of the time (based on almost 30 attempts). While the performance with my left thumb seems like the same as the previous firmware.

I updated my A50 to latest fiemware, removed my FP record and re-added. For mine I can say the FP unlock has much improved compared to last firmware. faster with better success rate. Of course not as fast as capacitive FP unlock.
One thing I feel somehow finger touches lightly on the screen has better success rate compared to hard press on the screen.
will keep observing whether it is consistent.

Is it just me or the signal is a bit low with the A50? Even Max Pro M1 got a better signal with the same telco.

I'm not sure if it's a lemon, especially after the latest update where the fp scanner is a bit better. Perhaps it just that the phone is a little bit inferior when it comes to signal strength? Or perhaps it's just me making up excuses to avoid the hassle of sending this A50 to Samsung service center.😄

been trying my new a30 for the last week. a much better phone if compared to my old xiaomi phone.

Can't see a lot of ads on this. I think Oppo, Vivo and Honor are really marketing their cheap stuff! These phones from Samsung are better but for some reason, many don't know of their existence

yes agree...after the latest update, my A50 FP scanner works well for me...if scan direct from sleep it only took 2 to 3 seconds to unlock, if wake screen then only scan it only took 1 second to unlock the phone...

for battery wise, mine can last the whole day with around 8 hours SOT (on wifi only)...

Hye, A30 charger and cable from box are in white or black colour for original my set?
I looks at shopee some got white, some black. Scared if seller change the charger before sending out.

Both my family A30 & A50 are blue color, the charges and cable came with it are white. 

Maybe in black "only if" you are buying a black handset.

The A20s has the snapdragon 450 which is slower the old A20. Wonder why Samsung did that.
