I wanted to know about the cost being a merchant for this as well. Anybody can share here?
I'm also kinda curious on the commission rates imposed to the merchant by eWallet providers, as well as what other benefits they get when their customer pay using their eWallet service.
But what I observe is, Touch n Go eWallet seems like available in many places and many merchants implements that very fast.
It is obvious to me that it is expanding faster than Boost.
Hmm, Touch n Go eWallet's benefits are more attractive than other eWallet providers?
And also, I find that GrabPay are mostly available at those places where the item/product's price range of the store are higher than average, like those "higher class" restaurants, cafes, and so on.
But then, I notice that some mamak restaurants also accepts GrabPay too.
I hardly see GrabPay is available in convenient stores such as KK Mart, 99 Speedmart and so on.
Does it means, GrabPay's commission rates involved is somewhat higher, which could convince some merchant to not implement GrabPay as one of payment method?
