i used the code, they said its cimb employees. and if i use it, i'm not applicable to free gifts.

yeap they said it's for CIMB employees. never mention cardholders.

you can but when you use whatever discount code, like i did. LENXCIMB,

first page add to cart states RM 1, but after applying discount code and going to check out, the price increases. not sure if its a glitch or what but its the same with other discount codes i used.

you might wanna check that again.

i.e.
i took the highest spec 7i at rm 10699
without the headset and everything else (mouse, bag and additional 1 year warranty) as an add on. it's an rm 3 additional, they'll state rm 843.50 item discount.
then i go and apply the LENXCIMB discount code, i dont know what the percentage of discount is is but they state rm -2209.10 savings
and the subtotal is rm 11046.50 before discount.
but then below they put, you're saving rm 2708.10.

if i'm saving rm 2708.10, it's lesser than the rm2209.10 i save from the code plus the rm 843.50 from the item discount. so what happened to the rm 344.5 that i'm supposed to be saving?

In total i'm paying rm 8837.4.

BUT

laptop price at rm10699 with LENXCIMB code
I should be paying rm8489.90 plus rm 3 for additional items supposedly.
instead i am paying rm 347.50 extra. which is the added on cost of the mouse and bag at full price but not 1 year warranty.

i dont see why not as most specs which cannot be upgraded without buying a new laptop altogether can be considered future proofing your use. Plus you can take into account, if using intel 10th gen with a minimum 20 series gpu that lenovo is utilising dynamic boost and advanced optimus. Plus 7i comes with tb3 port so you can use as desktop too.

does anyone know if the screen calibration is good or need to be recalibrated?

same case here buddy, but if you ask for a refund, you're gonna have to wait even longer. some guy earlier in the post waiting for refund since april and until now havent receive.

Either way, money will be stuck in between unless you have sape 10k to buy another laptop while waiting for refund.

does anybody know 7i, what the free gifts are? or received?

apparently i used lenxcimb code so i wasnt entitled to it. but i emailed their CS and still got it which was the powerbank.

i gave them the excuse, my friend used code and get, how come i dont. and then they just gave me.

i ordered mine on the 31st of may, same 7i as well but they updated shipping by 3rd july. how peculiar...

12% cashback or 20% ish discount with lenxcimb. have to weigh the pros and cons. its still the same thing

Hey guys, i'm not sure if this is the wrong part to post here. but i ordered my legion 7i and the order is taking too long. it arrives next week. It has already been dispatched but i already bought another laptop and now the customer service is being really difficult in refunding me even though i have already mentioned to them to cancel my order, 2 weeks before it was shipped out.

so if anyone is interested, but dont want to wait the long shipping time. please let me know.
its cpu: 10th gen i7 875h, ram:16gb and gpu:2070 super.
