Hi, I'm going to purchase a 2nd hand unit Legion 7i from a private seller, is there anything I should pay attention to?

Have been a Dell user for more than 10 years, this would be my first Lenovo, is the warranty transferrable to the new owner?

Just wondering if there's any "Lenovo account" like the "Dell account", which if the laptop is registered under the previous user's account, how to transfer to my account?

Sorry if the questions sounds stupid XD

Still have the glitch? Might be the drivers need a fresh install or update.

it's not something that occur frequently, i use it almost full day everyday, so far up until now only notice twice, and each time the glitch only last for a few seconds, on the right bottom corner of screen

Did the glitch occur while you were running any software/program? Are you on Hybrid mode? Also your current BIOS and Intel / Nvidia graphics version?

Thanks for assisting

Did the glitch occur while you were running any software/program?
quite random i guess, one time just Microsoft Edge, another time is just File Explorer, but both time also occur few minutes after turning on

Are you on Hybrid mode?
nope, Thermal Mode on Balance Mode, Over Drive is On by default

Also your current BIOS
SMBIOSBIOSVersion
E9CN33WW(V2.01)

and Intel / Nvidia graphics version?
Name NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Driver Version 27.21.14.5720

Try to on Hybrid mode, then continue on your usual work to see if there are still any glitches.
If there isn't any glitches in hybrid mode means maybe it is Nvidia drivers problem.

If that is the case then off Hybrid mode then try DDU in safe mode.
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/displa...r-download.html

before that, install an older driver, maybe 451.67, then follow the DDU steps for the link above.

i just tried on Hybrid Mode, same, and i've found out what triggered the glitch, it's when i play certain video or open certain image, not limited to file type or which software to open, but it's that particular video or image.

Corrupted files then? Doesn't sound like your laptop related issue but more towards those specific files being corrupted.

not really, even occur with some random images on internet browser, the glitch doesn't only appear on the image or video, it stretch outside of the image or video windows
