QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Jul 10 2019, 10:34 AM) Yep Lenovo Malaysia website already listed on their website. Ya, just wait for them to update the model spec and pricing. At the same time, I also found that Legion Y740 (both 15" & 17") no longer available for purchase (website). Not sure whether they are stop receive order temporarily, or want to update new spec for it (In some country, Lenovo already update spec to 9th generation CPU for Y740).

QUOTE(boombaye @ Sep 24 2019, 12:33 PM) Any installment option if purchased from lenovo website? Currently can use code DUIT for 20% off at the site. 9300h + 1660ti + 512gb ssd + 16gb ram for about RM4.5k with the code along with the freebies (bag, mouse, headset, premium 2 year warranty) worth it? Hi, I just ask the Lenovo chat service (I also eyeing for Lenovo laptop too), they reply that we need to check with our respective bank regarding the installment plan. At the same time I cannot find any FAQ regarding the installment plan on Lenovo site. Not sure whether they have it or not.

May I ask is there any different with Y540 & Y7000 SE? In terms of build quality & cooling, which one is better? Dilemma on choosing which one to buy, thanks in advance.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Sep 25 2019, 01:11 PM) Only difference is aesthetics Y7000 SE has lower price and lower RAM+SSD upgrade cost I see, so both model are actually similar. Thanks for the info

Lenovo just publish "New"(to me, "clone" is more suitable word) product, the Y7000. It is exact the same with Y540, in term of design & backlit colour, only Bluetooth version is different (as for current published spec). Haven't release for sale. Lenovo is funny, sell same model design at different name...

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Sep 29 2019, 07:07 PM) Y7000 is Y540 in China FYI So basically Lenovo MY is selling the same laptop under 2 different model name, possible with not so significant spec change and then (possibly) sell it at different price. Not sure what is Lenovo thinking, their marketing is beyond understanding...
