Anyone here using the beastly Y740? Still thinking if I should get this... Currently using Y400, a lot of issues are showing up lol

Seems like there's a common problem with Y740 and not sure if it's applicable to other Legion or Lenovo gaming models.
The case that I've come across is that when the screen goes to sleep, it won't wake up anymore after moving mouse, trackpad and typing on keyboard. But the fan is still running nonetheless. Btw, I just noticed that the screen brightness of Y740 is really dim. Though Lenovo claims it has 500nits?
Even my old Y400 with 200+nits has way brighter screen than my Y740 Edit: On comparison with the adjustment bar, basically Y740's level 7 brightness is Y400's level 1  This post has been edited by Quang1819: Sep 24 2019, 11:09 PM |
