Ive submitted my income tax last week and realized i left out some medical checkup and laptop purchase waiver as this is my first time submitting... I wanna know whether there is any way to ammend my income tax via online? Going to LHDN would be troublesome..
Thanks..

Thanks.. im not sure if LHDN had a form online. previously, when you already submitted via online, you cannot ammend it. You have to go to LHDN to fill the ammend form and submit to the officer there. You can also bring all the claim that you keyin earlier and submit to the officer as well. So they can verified and approve. So your excess tax will be reimbursed early. This post has been edited by vistro: Mar 11 2019, 04:59 PM

You can submit an online amendment but you still need to pay a visit to the nearest LHDN branch to have a coffee session with any of the officer. Do bring along the supporting documents.

that's why before u fill up e-filing.. make sure u have all the details first.. plan out what u want to key in. if u know what I mean best print out the form, write in pencil.. calculate manually.. if too much to pay.. add here & there... already finalized.. u happy. then only key in e-failing later on

You have 2 months for filing. Shouldn't rush for it. Unless you're pretty sure that you knew what to file for with all the documentations ready.

Still have to appear in person for verification. You do the calculation on whether it's worth it to make the trip there. This post has been edited by METALRAGE: Mar 11 2019, 09:58 PM

Even though you submit an amendment online, you still have to pay a trip to the nearest LHDN office.
