Where you go for live chat?
When I went to the Unifi's page (scroll to bottom for live chat) https://unifi.com.my/personal ,    they say that this live chat is not for Unifi.
*
I think what he saying is livechat in app. Under Menu - Support - Live Chat.

Just notice that my bebas plan was deactivated as I haven't used it for a long time. Is there anyway to reactivate the same number?
*

Pity.. is my fault, they never send a email reminder before they cut the line also.
In that case can apply another one for free also?
*
They did send you a reminder that look like this.
Yes you can apply, but take note that now they limit 1 number each IC...

but no mobile data, how i do even send a WhatsApp message

If the main purpose you need it for Data, forget about it.
For me it constantly drop to 3G when I travel.

The good use for me is its BEBAS Weekly which gives you 8Mbps with RM20 every week.
If you already have Unifi/Maxis/Time, then you don't need this.

Just buy umobile unlimited@RM30/month or even Digi's BOS unlimited data@RM1/day.

been using the free 20GB data from unifi mobile since its first launch, finally fully used up the free quota few days ago.

not a heavy data user, ever since using unifi, primary line (Hotlink) only keep active to maintain the number without any data usage. so far so good for unifi mobile although some times indoor could not get 4G signal but could get WiFi or wouldn't stay long, perhaps if buy data in future it will no longer be a problem if without 4G still can use 3G.
*
For low usage, can try Digi one time pass: 2GB@RM15.

For more details you may check on Digi thread.

To me, unifi data is too expensive.
It cost RM130 for 20GB (8+8+4) and quota for 3G is splitted.
This pissed me off as there are a lot area especially in door without LTE.

but the problem is, i need to topup RM30 monthly in order to stay active, meaning, everymonth i need to pay at least rm30 in order to use the data ( even rm15 for 2 gb, but if your line is inactive, u can't make call or using any data available ) .
*
This pass comes with AlwaysActive™, so once you buy it will auto extend your validity date. (This is what I read in Digi thread)
Anyway, let's not sway too far from this topic and continue in Digi Thread.

i dont think so, your plan is valid for 30 days, but your line isn't, u need to further top up for rm15 for remaining 15 days.
*
I believe senpai in Digi thread gave you answer already. smile.gif

JohnLai For me its ok, as I will surely use within 90 days. Guess you seldom use the sim card, that's why susah
*
Some of us need the card in standby mode.
Personally I see some ppl plug it into CCTV to send alert during abnormal event.
They need the sim active for long period without any usage.

There not much telco offer very long validity with affordable cost.
Unifi mobile offer this near to zero cost. biggrin.gif

xeon1989 They actually give us $- 10GB LTE data (including some free calls and sms]-not sure whether still valid.  smile.gif
*
Whenever you use your free data, it consider as usage. Thus you don't need to use its call and sms.
Unifi mobile did not have best rate for their call/sms topup.

New user only can apply 1 sim, comes with 2GB LTE, 10 min call and 10 smses.

xeon1989  Am ok with unifi's rate for call/sms but don't mind if its cheaper. What telco are you using for calls/sms?

Ha, now only 2GB. Last time was 10GB.
*
abcn1n currently using Digi as mine reload one time get 365days validity. Good for light user like me. For data I'm using unifi mobile same like you.
It depends on what you want from your telco. If you just need validity and data, onexox is good. But if you want free data, unifi mobile is nice but it's data plan not cheap. (unless you take BEBAS weekly RM20)

is it limit imposed by unifi mobile?

Yes. It seems if data consume by device itself can up to 20+Mbps, while tethered device can only run up to about 8Mbps.

For all unlimited data add-ons, they are capped speed at 7+Mbps. For the free/expensive data, I can get about 20mbps at my home area. But, I only buy unlimited weekly.
I haven't tried unlimited data on phone b4. Is it getting 20mbps on anything? Or ONLY on speed test?

PS: you made me wanting to test it so badly. But, very sad, it was NOT what as you said.

My bad, mine was consuming free data that's why I got 20M.
I just tried again, unlimited package did limit speed for all up to 8M.
Thanks for correcting me. notworthy.gif

Update.

Inserted Unifi Air sim into my Huawei E-5186-22a router which only support Unifi Band 38.

This is the disappointing result.

Unifi Air sim ( which is advertised as unlimited and up to 20 Mbps) connected at Band 38 only can get 3.xx Mbps.

But my Unifi mobile Bebas Sim in the same router, same Band 38 can give me cappped speed of 7.xx Mbps

Unifi Air must be heavily capped , and half the speed of capped Unifi Bebas.

Tomorrow I will return Unifi Air for a refund.
*
Inserted Unifi Air SIM to my B618, getting 40Mbps for Band 40.
Not able to get Band 38.
I guess it depends on coverage?

QUOTE(saitong09 @ Oct 8 2019, 01:51 PM)
Miss call not consider. Alternately you can use the data to keep your number alive.
*
Yes, as mentioned by KopiChia, spending is required.
Not necessary need to pay, just send 1 sms or browse web should do.

Personally I download 5MB file.
