i used my line last week after getting email notification that it will be terminated in a week. still, today i received another email saying my line will be terminated. when i checked the app, i'm shocked to see status "termination in progress". is it too late to recover the number now?

anyone knows if there is any grace period after 90 days of non usage? forgot to take the cards with me when i left for outstation. saw termination in progress on the app now. will only be back home on friday.

this time round i didn't receive any notification emails. the previous 2 rounds i got emails from them.

roaming is known to be tricky and unpredictable. it seems none of the vietnamese carriers like unifi

once i was in nepal with my umobile but couldn't connect any network. gotten my sister to call umobile and cs said nepal telecom is their preferred partner. last month i went to nepal again and umobile now roams smoothly on ncell but still not on nepal telecom.

would getting a local sim card solve your problem? data is cheap and fast in vietnam.

the app does list the pricing for vietnam. i never roam and pay more unless the local sim option is not viable (eg china, india, japan, countries with imei blocking)

my iphone connects to unifi's lte band 5 fine. but when i moved the sim card to a huawei mifi e5573s-320 which claims to support lte band 5, i could only see 502153 (which is p1/webe) on the network list.

does this mean my mifi doesn't really support band 5?

Ok when inside the mall along walkway where the roof is covered with glass. Inside the shops and Isetan, no 4g signal.

Calls should be fine when fallback to 3g (or 2g) as it runs over celcom’s network.

Why do you still want 1gb when there is already unlimited?

Anything other than 4g runs on Celcom. Even though TM and Celcom are abang adik, don’t think they will give for free.

anyway to check data balance for the new 1gb free data? the app doesn't show. worried that i might deplete the data too quickly and it might eat into my paid data.

been using since 8am this morning. so far so good. no restriction.

didn't use alot of of facebook and youtube though. can't tell if usage is deducted from the free 1gb daily or other data.
