damn, yesterday already buy weekly plan. expired on 28. never got a chance to buy 1 free 1. its not fair at all.

mine expired 21st, 6am. i cant wait whole day. plus didnt know about the offer. the offer should run for whole week. want to complaint now.

just to info that my unifi mobile with bebas plan now start have problem with band 38 and 40. if connected to TDD, speed too slow within 300kbps. but when connect to band 5, got speed up to 4-5mbps. during congestion, connection with band 5 will go 1-2mbps.

is it only my area or other area also have problem like my area?

possible. but my available fiber for unifi and maxis. will chat with them to know the detail.

actually i'm on weekly unlimited. and the simcard is on my mifi modem. been using it for more than 1 year. total data used more than 3Tb. contacted service agent via live chat, didnt help much. so, i'm not sure why band 38/40 now become so slow. will bring to other places and try speed for band 38/40. might be only on my area affected

unifi bebas with unlimited plan allowed to share it data. but if they change the t&c, i might apply for unifi air.

just take my unifi air simcard and test just now at my huawei E5573Cs-609. i have agree with @budi1413 that unifi air really connected with band 5. but speed i can get max 5Mbps. with band 40 that quite weak here still can get 15Mbps. so, i guess it really worth to change from unifi mobile with unlimited plan to unifi air.

test speed again about this time and get more than 30Mbps. didnt expect to get that speed with this cheap mifi 4G modem with weak coverage at my area.

with modem comes with 2 years contract.

yes correct. i have try back unifi mobile simcard on the same modem, place at the same location. speed for band 5 up to 5Mbps. and band 38/40 up to 4Mbps. hardly to stream netflix to 1080p.

then change back to unifi air simcard, easy 20Mbps. sometimes able to get 40Mbps. now can stream netflix with 4K.

the modem support band 5, 38 and 40.

plug in with battery. not by pass.. tried but failed. 1 battery can hold up 8-10 months. after that, sure kembung.

but unifi air still not capped right? cause i able to get 60Mbps at certain area. and at my hometown, kampung perepat kapar, unifi only cover with band 5 there. no band 38 or 40. but, with unifi air sim, i able to get connected and online. speed also better than using unifi mobile sim.

will tm capped unifi air speed to 20Mbps as per their advertise?

really happy using unifi air. before this only can stream netflix and youtube up to 1080p while using unifi mobile. now can stream 4k without buffering with unifi air.

if they capped the speed, wonder if still can stream 4k without buffering like now.

open browser,
enter gateway address example (192.168.1.1)
login with id: admin, password: admin
go to settings
untick select all band, and tick band 38 & 40.
save and ready to go

it not have band 5 options but can support band 5 when select all.

try unifi air. RM80/month. so far no limit for the speed. using cheap modem huawei e5573cs-609 can get more than 60mbps in certain area. at my house area, on the website showed no coverage but i can get 3-4 bar and average speed 20mbps.

B618-65d. still thinking to terminate current sim and get new sim with free modem or not. current modem can used almost anywhere. b618 have limitation because of the size.

not saying it better than B618. but Huawei E5573CS-609 is portable. fit in my pocket. can use unifi air almost anywhere especially when working outside of building.

need to click buy daily. and the plan only appear on 8AM. check on 12am, 6am, 7.50am, no RM0 plan appear. only appear on 8AM.
