Unifi Air does not use band 5, only band 38/40 afaik.

you can compare these 2 coverage maps:
Unifi Air(band 38/40) https://unifi.com.my/personal/home/wireless...adband#wttx-air
Unifi Mobile(band 5/38/40) https://unifi.com.my/unifi-en/personal/home...s-coverage.page

lets say your area is not covered for Unifi Air but covered for Unifi Mobile, you area probably only have band 5.

The only solution is to wait 1-2 days after porting in to be able to receive OTP sms.
