Hello everyone, I need some advice here. I'm currently having multiple SIM cards on Unifi BEBAS prepaid, have been using them for many years. However, I passed 1 SIM to my niece a couple of years back for her to use since she's studying but now can I port it out to other telcos and change the ownership to her since she's already started working? Understand that Unifi doesn't allow ownership change, so I may need to port in to Celcom/Maxis before changing ownership but I'm not sure if this method is doable. Not sure if anyone here has experienced doing this, would greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks!
tried it few times with digi prepaid, both have to be present at official outlet (not dealer), existing plan will be forfeit, credit will remain, bring along ic 😆
thanks for the info. the other unifi SIMs will remain as they are right? only that particular SIM will be converted. the reason is because all the unifi SIMs are all tied to my ID.
Saw a notification on my iPhone saying "sim card" sent a sms. Check the account, nothing deducted, but there's nothing to be deducted anyway. I had no balance.
Meanwhile, I quickly checked the other account, and voila, indeed a sms RM 0.10 was deducted. Of course, no sms was sent from that phone, especially not at 5am.
This is not the first time where balance mysteriously went missing.
scary hollow SMS👻 had same encountered with unifi & hotlink both prepaid🙈
I reloaded RM30 to my Unifi Mobile Prepaid using its app with TnG Visa prepaid card, amount was deducted from TnG Visa but not reflected in the app's balance. What should I do, call up TnG or Unifi?
Some update on unifi mobile WiFi Calling VoWiFi overseas is working as I’m connected to a CMHK 4G network hotspot Able to call , sms with HK 4G in VoWiFi mode
glad to see more telco are supporting overseas wifi calling, now it's the time for them to implement esim
tested umobile few days ago, better than unifi for my location. on average both are usable as daily. IMHO all telco had improved a lot, even yes is excellent when moving around outside but it’s weakness are in malls and indoor car park. i would pick celcomdigi kuning for main and hotlink prepaid pantas as secondary, but area dependent though

Hotlink Pantas Sabah 1.Plan Cost: RM18 per month Benefits:Unlimited calls and 60GB data (hotspot included) Total Cost: RM18 x 6 = RM108
2. CelcomDigi Yellow Plan Cost: RM25 for the first month, RM10/month for the next 5 months Benefits:Unlimited calls,40GB data and 30GB hotspot Total Cost: RM25 + (RM10 x 5) = RM75
They didn't state an expiry date. But we won't know until a day or two later if it's really true 😅
Look at the screenshot posted by Piers. Expiry 1 April, lol. But then his is Postpaid.

he is using postpaid. postpaid’s seems to have expiry.
this line came with unifi SWU 4.0, i’ve tried but totally unusable at my frequent visit location 🙈 well…at least the free data it’s given without any extra effort lol

My 6 months unifi RM39 journey came to an end this week.
Would I recommend or consider using? Hell no. The network is worse than Maxis despite using their infra.
I was using dual sim with Hotlink. Unifi 2-: worse in same location for coverage and speed. I signed up cause of the free for 6 months promo and used it primarily for mobile data.
And the dumb part, need 1 app for unifi mobile, another app for unifi fiber. Why cannot just put everything in one app I don’t understand.
when i request line termination, the offered was 8 months free which i think it took up my phone’s space 😂

Stay with Unifi packages are only available at TM Point/Unifi Store.
My unifi SWU4.0 was set up with a unifi postpaid three-month payment plan of RM39 plus SST, with one month’s advance payment when I signed up. However, the refund was not received when I contacted the TM Customer Service department after termination. I visited the same branch to terminate my service, and two days later, received a call from HQ offering me eight months of free service but i declined that offer. that the postpaid line was not the primary concern for me 😁
