Now my data usage reached 30gb and true enough, almost immediately the speed dropped to ~5mbps consistent (refer picture) . Mind you, my location has full signal and less congestion. Also, a friend of mine tested using his unifi sim on the same location but with data usage less than 10gb gets 20mbps consistent. Therefore I can conclude that unifi mobile is SECRETLY THROTTLING THE INTERNET SPEED! Beware!
<10GB - 20mbps max
>10GB - 10mbps max
>30GB - 5mbps max
>50GB - 3mbps max
I have forwarded the issue to MCMC on this matter we'll see how it goes. I would have never subscribe to this plan if I know this kind of crappy limitation exist.
Damn. You capped fast lol. I just reached 50GB by today. Ill get a feedback from unifi first, want to see their excuse this time. After that will file a complaint to MCMC.
I noticed that Speedtest probably in cahoot with ISP, both speedtest and tmnet speedtest has the same result.
any respond from them? they havent replied mine yet.

Hi TS stephantsen. Pls put the above information in the main page so that people would be aware of unifi mobile hidden throttling "feature"
Interesting findings... Didn't know Unifi Mobile would do such thing.. In their T&C got write about this limiting speed thingy or not? 🤔 After certain usage, speed would be capped?
Not that I know of.

Throttling speed Very underhanded indeed !
Yes. I will continue to spread awareness to people for as long as I'm bound under the 1 year contract. I would have never subscribe the plan if I know this limitation is in place.
I think even you report to MCMC. TM will throw the policy "Fair Usage" of data.. However it is depend either "you win the case, then you get compensate" OR "you lost the case, and you earn nothing and totally wasting your time only".
At the end, they will say "Sorry for inconvenience cause". And another meaning is "You don't like, you can port out to others anytime".
So far no fair usage nonsense yet. Anyway, they use Acceptable Use Policy. MCMC is closely following the case so far. I have nothing to lose bringing this case to MCMC since I am bounded under contract for 1 year. So even if I want to port out yesterday, I won't be able to, not without penalty.

Take note for those who plans to switch to RM59 unifi mobile plan. There is systemic speed throttling that you should know about.

Hi, is there any way to get unifi TV to work with Unifi mobile? I am able to login unifi playtv app with my phone no. but for unifi TV app, need to have the different type login ID (@iptv).
Hi, may I know unify mobile provides VoLTE? Gonna use it on oneplus 8T. And rm59 for existing unify broadband sounds like a good deal with all unlimited and without contact
I am using Huawei mate 20 Pro and there is volte support. Able to browse net when on call. You can check your phone compatibility via the link below.
