Apa then, 1000sen can last how long? To be exact it is 24.65years.
*
I don't think the existing mobile plan would last 24 years, new technologies will make it obsolete.

I just got a new WOW SIM to test

If I am not wrong...

First 30 days: RM10 new SIM with 10GB Data (30 days), can choose a virgin number at Unifi Mobile App.
Grace Period: 60 days
Top up RM1 to active for 1 day, can buy mobile date 2GB at RM6, 8GB at RM18 (no time limit).
Grace Period 60 days, cannot make call and send sms and buy mobile data, but CAN receive call, sms and use mobile data.

So RM7 (total top-ups) / year to keep the phone number, receive calls and sms. (RM6 can be used to buy 2GB data)

P/S: RM10 for 10GB 30 days is a good deal! Then wait for 60 days to get the line terminated or port out the virgin number to another mobile operator.

Is Unifi UNI5G WOW Prepaid the cheapest if I need a line with 4G/5G data?
I understand I just need to buy the RM1 add-on pass every 2 months to maintain the line and buy the internet data add-on to use the 4G/5G data. For top up, can I top up RM1 or is there a minimum amount?
*
How much data you use monthly?
If super light user (<1GB for 365 days) maybe Hotlink Pantas RM30 (365 days validity) + RM2 (1GB data for 365 days) (Note: May top up RM10 for 30 days validity period, credit accumulated can be used to buy evouchers eg Pizza, Grab etc, then no need to spend RM30 for 365 days validity)
If super heavy user and stay in Sabah/Sarawak, U Borneo is the cheapest, RM15/month for 2000GB (10GB only if used in West Malaysia) and unlimited calls.

For Unifi Wow, minimum top up is RM10 with 10 days validity period, followed by 60 days passive period (cannot make calls and buy Internet). You may spend RM1 from account credit to re-active for 3 days (to make calls or buy Internet), but not too sure you will get 60 days passive period refreshed (from my observation at Unifi Mobile App, the termination date remain unchanged). 8GB data cost RM18. Worth it or not, depends on the data volume you need.

If I buy the RM1 add on that comes with 3 days validity will it not refresh or extend to another 60 days passive/grace period?
*
I still received termination sms even though My RM1 add-on just expired. So I assumed 60 days passive period was not refreshed with RM1 add-on.

I don't want to take risk, so top up RM10 for 10 (active) +60 (passive) days.

Been using unifi mobile in klang valley.. along federal highway got blind spot like Maxis. In PJ near Jalan 222 going Seapark can suddenly total no line.

Lucky is free. If I paid for this rubbish I’d hang myself. This is on iPhone 15 so don’t blame the phone.
Sekian my sharing

If 5G, most likely DNB's issue.
Also, got some graveyard along the road.

If the 2 months grace period is almost over, and you buy 1/- for 3 days validity,  will this also reset the grace period to 2 months ?

No.

New to Unifi...

Just MNP to Unifi WOW... Im curious... now I get 10GB free with 30day validity. If I top up RM10 next month and buy WOW 10GB again, do I get 30days validity or just the 10 days extra with RM10 reload?

TQ

QUOTE(temrage @ Sep 10 2025, 10:58 PM)
You'll only get 10days from the reload
*
You still can use data even though the line is "passive" (Unifi mobile only) but you cannot make calls, send sms and buy plan or add-on.

what is the current offer for unifi 1 validity? I just need small data to keep my number active, that is all, not for call. thanks.
*
Top up RM10 every 2 months (10 days active period to make calls, buy add-on including data).
Buy data 8GB RM18 when active.
Can use data but can't make calls, can't buy add-on when the line is not active (60 days grace period).

cool, the 8G data is how long? 1 month?
*
No time limit, ie you can use anytime till you finish 8GB.
Same to 2GB @ RM6

P/S: top up RM10 every 2 months, through 10 days Active + 60 days "Passive"(Grace period before line termination)

cool, thanks man, it seems this suit me more, where as hotlink pantas is 30RM 1 year validity, data is separate purchase.
*
I am using Hotlink Pantas as well.
I top up RM10 every month. (30 days validity)
I buy 365 days data 5GB @ RM10 (-RM3 My Rewards so RM7 only) or
HotlinkMU 20GB 30 days data at RM10 (-RM3 My Rewards so RM7 only) and automatically extend validity by 30 days.
I use Hotlink credit to buy Petronas fuel voucher RM10 (using Hotlink credit RM9.50)
Better than spend RM30 Hotlink credit to buy 365 days validity.

+ Sunday spins, free KFC burger/chicken every few weeks. Haha.

ok, here is my case, I already got 1 main line, which is digi rm3 unlimited call/month, so I just need a seperate line for my data, as I have dual sim phone. when I am outside and need data, I can use it, so it make sense to get the 1 year validity, perhaps throw in 5Gb data or so, it is for light surfing or checking whatsapp etc, but my bulk data intensive surfing is on wifi where I got UM 20RM 2000GB borneo plan. lol rclxms.gif

mine idea is that, just 1 off 1 year validity and forget the hassle of monthly top up.  ohmy.gif
*
Then use Hotlink RM30 for 15 months (top up RM10 for first 3 months then buy 365 days validity).
More reliable than Unifi mobile.
