prepaid is not even charged SST, unlike postpaid.
prepaid users made hulabaloo noise last time under pretense of tak mampu, etc.

it makes sense for postpaid to be granted exclusion from being taxed again.
but prepaid? submit to SST first lah.

Send SMS lah. Confirm will deduct 10Β’; no need to execute a call but still worry over your gamble.

you need to either top-up OR spend (voice, sms, or data) in order to reset expiry date for another 90d.

getting missed call alone is neither top-up nor spend. it does not change any of the quota. @azhar is right when he wrote
- your outgoing call is not charged (no quota spent) if all you heard till the end was ringing tone
- your outgoing call is charged (quota spent) if the outgoing call is answered - regardless by human or machine

it's the same mechanism like yesteryears when every call were charged only when the other side answered. this is now hidden from newbies since now almost all telco provide zero-rated calls, so you don't really get to see the charging.

TM no incentive to expand coverage.

They just need to leverage on DigitalNasional's coverage, skip all the the 3G4G in-between.

Other telcos with own tower, 4G, 2G will scream murder for the excessive gigabyte uplink rate quoted by DNB. But for TM and Yes, they don't have a sizeable pre-existing uplinks to consider, can straightaway spend all on DNB overinflated offer.

the iphone app refuses to display the left-side menu, cannot even log out.

used android. both numbers show "account expired" status.
the balance is there though.


not a crippling loss. both numbers were only maintained using the initial RM10.

failed to send out sms.

inside app, the usual "buy this", "buy that" options are no longer displayed. just empty space.

initially i didn't know whose accounts those were; i honestly thought TM had AGAIN registered somebody else's account but typo to my IC.

so here they are; last used to send dummy SMS on 10th Feb 2022. live agent had used the word "suspended", but after further engagement, actual state is terminated in the very sense of it.

(i had previously lodged police report denying ownership; TM admitted "probably typo" that they somehow registered a delinquent fibre account but linked to my IC - and my mobile - for an alien address somewhere in shah alam. or was it klang? that account was already in use for quite some time by the time i was alerted to its existence. so i am very *~!€[%,Β₯ when it involves unrecognised TM account numbers and it asking to pay. coupled with the fact that their dinosaur system cannot even update installation address properly after i moved streamyx account inter-states.)

didn't inspect the app that much. just topped up right away.

after that data started flowing.

you can also contact cs to check if your number can be recovered.
