With the recent rise of download standards, hopefully we won't see any speed caps on 4G (high speed passes) or at least, speed caps raised to 10Mbps. As it will clearly violate the new MCMC requirements.

many telco eventually force migrate legacy plans. but we will never know.

If they really do so then it is really bye-bye for me (and go to Maxis /CelcomDigi instead.) Staying for now because they launched a very bad plan.

With the refresh of new offering, it might become the cheapest telco to offer just unlimited calls to local network. (RM110 for 1 year - including unlimited call pass for RM5 X 12 month and RM50 for 365 days validity)

You won't get this kind of deal anywhere else and the closest is Yoodo with 4000 min calls for RM12. (usually, you need to subscribe to data packages in order to get unlimited calls.) However, this is Unifi Mobile, and since they are well known to change and remove a lot of terms and things WITHOUT NOTICE at their own discretion, it might be a risky option.

Which plan costs only rm110 for 1 year?
*
I mean the unlimited calls + validity option for 1 year.

Active 365 - RM50 (365 days validity)
UL Call plan - RM5/30 days (unlimited calls to standard Malaysian numbers) (X12 months)

Total damage = RM50 + RM5 X12 = RM110

How to extend validity when the validity tab is empty?

Are you in the older BEBAS plan and not the newer WOW plan? If yes, the validity option will be empty (because any usage/reload will extend the validity by 90 days).

So for old Bebas, I can just simply reload RM10 and validity will extend 90 days?
*
Yes. Any reload will extend the validity for 90 days from the day of top up/reload.

Also, any usage (outgoing calls, SMS, data usage) will too extend the validity for 90 days from the day of usage. As you have some balance (based on the screenshot), you can buy some internet pass and use it sometimes.

The above rule only applies to the old Bebas plan (no longer available for new customers) and doesn't apply to the newer WOW plan, which reload RM1 = 1 day validity. In this case, the validity option of RM1 = 3 days and RM50 = 365 days will appear.

After the active period, there will be a 60 days passive period and if you didn't reload or buy validity, then the SIM will expire.

Ticky part that didn't mention in faqs, not sure follow which below.

20GB 4G/5G * 12 months + 100GB * 12 months = 240GB 4G/5G 1200GB GB for total 365 days

or

20GB 4G/5G and 100GB 5G for total 365 days
*
More like the latter. If it is the earlier, in terms of quota, it will cannibalise their more expensive Wow 25 and Wow 35 plans.

That's one reason they have to throw in Tealive vouchers to increase the attractiveness of the package (limited time promo for new customers).

But for RM 15/month + unlimited calls, this will be great for those with low data usage (using WiFi at home + office) + those who are calling frequently.

The OG Bebas plan is still the best.

Not really if this is 2020 maybe a good offer in 2025 how often do you call most people use data to call and data don’t consume much. Also don’t forget tons of accessible WiFi .

Example hotlink sabah rm18 I get 60gb a month with unlimited calls = rm216

But this crappy unifi mobile plan rm180 unlimited calls and 10gb a month also if you have a very stable 5g coverage

This really depends - but even for my mom - since she have switched to a 5G phone very recently, her data usage has skyrocketed, that this plan is not suitable for her (with just 120GB of data per year, she is on Kuning 25 plan which has 40GB data + extra hotspot usage) - she is and has been a heavy call (direct call, not WhatsApp) user.

Of course, she uses fibre broadband plan at home very extensively.

Unifi Mobile prepaid is simply not that attractive to general users - especially after the removal of Bebas. I don't know if the Tealive voucher will help.

As long as you receive this message - you can enjoy free 8GB data given by Unifi Mobile.

This is on one of my spare lines - principally used for some online radio streaming when I am out (so data usage is very little). Hopefully, there would be really no expiry date (as stated) so that I can use it for much much longer.

My other two lines do not receive the message, yet.
