You get offered from TM?

OR you walk in to TM point, then they introduce this package?
Look good since there is no contract.

But kinda weird, is it they will contact to your office phone number for verification?

QUOTE(choonkeong @ Feb 19 2020, 01:46 AM)
My Bebas Complimentary No longer 7.5Mbps.
Now 4Mbps only.
*
Is it you keep downloading something?
If keep downloading, it takes around 20 minutes like that, straight away temporary capped your speed.

Same as my one yesterday night formatting my laptop, then Fresh New Update windows around 30 minutes.
Straight away capped my speed around 64kbps to 1mbps, nothing you can do it as you cannot think it is like Unifi Lite (Streamyx).

QUOTE(plsharevme @ Feb 19 2020, 01:52 AM)
if unlimted 99 capped at 4Mbps , i will no pay and make a report at skmm and report police , they also nothing can do to us.
*
Of course they can't do anything to you, the worst they will bring your name to blacklist system.. Make you trouble you can't port out or register new postpaid account from others service provider.
That's simple.. rclxs0.gif

QUOTE(lexu2005 @ Feb 19 2020, 09:23 AM)
My Bebas still get 7Mbps.
What's make them want to capped ur speed to 4Mbps?
*
I believe he was downloading files.
But something I experience my device quite hot temperature, that will affect the speed too..
Because the device has itself to reduce speed to prevent over-heat.

I know they can do this becouse they are big company but we also can spread this no good new to any people want subscribe unifi mobile.
At the long run they are doing business with no good reputation. becouse they capped customer speed at so low speed.

And for new customer , beware of cheap but have contract. !!!!
*
As what I know, they don't care about the reputation..

0% reputation, 10% network quality, 90% profit.

LTE band 5 is known to be SLOW. Yes, there's no denied it.
Uncapped speed = depends on area, should your area support band 38 or 40, you'll definitely get faster speed. For my area only has band 5, speed is around 10-20mbps DL and 7mbps UL in the morning and afternoon, while at night it gets congested to only 1-3mbps DL and 6mbps UL, 'ping' is very high.
Unifi Mobile BEBAS = capped speed at 7mbps DL and UL, although sometime at night it drops to 3-5mbps DL and UL, everything still running quite smooth.
Yes, I'm using Unifi AIR, already terminted, or BEBAS on Huawei B618s-65d (unlocked).
I did not take TM modem (locked) because you are required to return EVERYTHING IN GOOD CONDITION even after 24-month contract ended, otherwise prepared for penalty or renew 24-month contract as what I was told, it's unconfirmed though.
*
It's seems like BEBAS plan is better than AIR plan in-terms of the stability speed. hmm.gif
I also plan to get the AIR plan because of the Huawei modem.
But after 2 years contract end, still want to return the device, I feel it's can't make sense already.
Just imagine every month pay 79 (exclude SST), I already pay the whole Huawei modem with subscriptions fee already cost RM1000 above.

Take note that is not like fiber ONU modem leh~ sweat.gif

Using Bebas costs about the same, you still don't get any free modem after using it for 2 years.

*
Although there is no free modem, bt at least Bebas plan don't have contract. I can temporary stop another month if I m no using.

Somemore, I don't want to pay extra cost with Shit Sucking Tax. whistling.gif

Hi TS stephantsen. Pls put the above information in the main page so that people would be aware of unifi mobile hidden throttling "feature"
*
I think even you report to MCMC.
TM will throw the policy "Fair Usage" of data.. However it is depend either "you win the case, then you get compensate" OR "you lost the case, and you earn nothing and totally wasting your time only".

At the end, they will say "Sorry for inconvenience cause". And another meaning is "You don't like, you can port out to others anytime".

Sabah Kota Kinabalu, if u use speedtest it shows roughly 7Mbps, Its same also in KL, as I fly back and forth between these two places, but PS4 download speed is limited to 1Mbps
*
I can't imagine your download speed is limited to 1 mbps.. Imagine your games file size is 5 or 6GB, then you need to turn on your PS4 24 hours within 1 month to fully successful download finish.

However, it's look like conflict with Unifi Air...

unifi mobile always connect to band 5 even band 40 is there
either lock band or using device without band 5

May I know you use what device?

My one unifi mobile yesterday night like that crazy suddenly "No services"..
And see my router support Band 40 instead of Band 5..

I'm now using D-Link DWA-953, Unifi Air always connect to band 5, is there anyway to lock it to band 40? Thanks
*
Normally router does not option can lock which band network.
However, I think only can set network 4G only to avoid lari Celcom 3G or Unifi 4G

Hi guys, currently am using Umobile P79 for my phone data plan. Am looking at this Unifi Mobile 99 plan.

unlimited data, call, sms. Got 10GB LTE hotspot every month also. Seems like quite a no brainer. And I read this as well in their website.

12 months contract. Price remain RM59 after 12 months contract. Meaning this package if i sign up now, I will be paying RM59 even when my contract ends? And also I will continue to pay at Rm59 until further announcement by them right?
*
It should be the same RM59 after contract and pay until company tutup kedai.

Im getting mixed feedback on the Unifi Mobile package. Some say got speed cap, some say no. 50/50 if i wanna jump ship.  doh.gif

The place that I'm staying, I do have Times ISP. When I balik kampung, no unifi coverage also. Just checked the coverage, my kampung and my current location just 3g coverage. Just done speedtest on my umobile, can reach 64Mbps download speed. Afraid if i switch to this Unifi Mobile, i cant even reach half of it. hmmm.
*
I suggest you don't switch since Umobile can reach until 64mbps, which is consider OK for the speed. Not so fast, but not so low.
Unless you hotspot share with 3 or 4 ppl, then need backup already.

Nevertheless, you can try unifi prepaid to test the speed before you use your existing number to switch Unifi.

Hi, I got my yoodo wanna port in to Unifi mobile.
Any cost for it?

I see from website, they only charge RM10 for new number.
So port in existing number is free of charges?

Thanks a lot.

It's seems like my Unifi detect several hotspot causing go down to Band 5..
My TP-Link Router so far can only support Band 40, but not support Band 5 coz my router is 1st generation one..

Sometimes experienced suddenly totally loss signal and showed "No services"..
No matter keep restart the router, still the same "No service".. Until put the SIM to the phone device, then able to work connections..

But I heard Unifi Air only use for Band 40, am I right? unsure.gif

Either Band 38 or 40. Can still connect to Band 5 but speed is not beyond 10Mbps. Band 38/40 can go up to 20Mbps...
*
I guess they release the different products to differentiate the band network and speed.

My area there don't have band 38.. So far I know only Band 40 and Band 5..

Weird that once I put on the phone device, the phone device showed H++ for Band 5
But if go to Band 40, it showed 4G+

But since you say Band 5 not beyond 10mbps, it make sense and logic that the device showed H++ instead of 4G+ connections.

Bebas didn't capped streaming quality, not issues with 1080p, buffering with 1440p.

8mbps was capped for Bebas Weekly/Monthly, because my Speedtest was over 60Mbps capable.

Wow.. This speed consider as Fiber quality already. thumbup.gif
OR it might be your area no much ppl using unifi network, so you are consider monopoly utilize the network there.
