My Bebas Complimentary No longer 7.5Mbps.
Now 4Mbps only.

Is it you keep downloading something?
If keep downloading, it takes around 20 minutes like that, straight away temporary capped your speed.

Same as my one yesterday night formatting my laptop, then Fresh New Update windows around 30 minutes.
Straight away capped my speed around 64kbps to 1mbps, nothing you can do it as you cannot think it is like Unifi Lite (Streamyx).

QUOTE(plsharevme @ Feb 19 2020, 01:52 AM)
if unlimted 99 capped at 4Mbps , i will no pay and make a report at skmm and report police , they also nothing can do to us.
*
Of course they can't do anything to you, the worst they will bring your name to blacklist system.. Make you trouble you can't port out or register new postpaid account from others service provider.
That's simple.. rclxs0.gif

QUOTE(lexu2005 @ Feb 19 2020, 09:23 AM)
My Bebas still get 7Mbps.
What's make them want to capped ur speed to 4Mbps?
*
I believe he was downloading files.
But something I experience my device quite hot temperature, that will affect the speed too..
Because the device has itself to reduce speed to prevent over-heat.

I know they can do this becouse they are big company but we also can spread this no good new to any people want subscribe unifi mobile.
At the long run they are doing business with no good reputation. becouse they capped customer speed at so low speed.

And for new customer , beware of cheap but have contract. !!!!

As what I know, they don't care about the reputation..

0% reputation, 10% network quality, 90% profit.

Blacklisted + penalty charges based on remaining months of contract. If shitty service like UMobile can get away from SKMM even heap load of reports on them, let alone Unifi. The only one on disadvantage would be you with Debt Collector start to chase you around.

If you report MCMC and MCMC finds out you use non-certified mobile phone by them, not just only you have debt and blacklisted by telco, also get sued by MCMC or sent to prison summore.

Some years ago, I no pay Maxis for my postpaid 3G modem plan due very slow speed, I only got blacklisted and CTOS by Maxis, ie not by other celcos.(prepaid accounts cannot be blacklisted by celcos) My debt to Maxis was about RM800 because it kept on billing me - Maxis did not take me to court, probably because not worth spending a few thousand RM in lawyer and court fees to recover RM800 from me.
....... CTOS = cannot get bank loans and credit cards = pay cash lor or with debit card/eWallet.
.

Speed of 3G is acceptable. Restriction of 3G is NONE but if you using a non band 5 phone, it's capped at 5GB only.

Well it cannot be none because the 5GB on 3G is a restriction.

I go TMPoint and I asked before, they say can detect your phone model if you are connected to their network.

Not only TM, even Maxis, Digi, Celcom also can detect what phone you using. That is why sometimes they send provisioning messages to you based on your phone model.

The TnC was written when phones with B5 LTE were fewer, to encourage users to get the appropriate handset.. Nowadays most phones for the Malaysian market have B5 so really not much point for that band-checking. Doubt very much they ever bothered with such checking.

GSM and CDMA protocols are standard all over the world.

As part of those protocols, your phone reveal its IMEI, maker, model, and more information whenever it "log in" to telco network.

Even IMEI number can identify phone's maker and model.

After that, it's just a matter of matching your model to known device attributes. The attributes can be supplied by device manufacturers, local distributors, OpenSignal, NetworkCellInfo, Speedtest, CPUz, ....
