I read somewhere, that the sms/call/data usage must be something that we have purchased before. So if its free data/sms/call that was given previously, then it won't count

I've been maintaining my Unifi line since Jan 2018 by making a short call every 80+ days from my free quota.

Thanks. If that's the case, I don't have to waste $ purposely buying calls/sms and making call on the purchased product. (If I remembered correctly, it was mentioned in lowyat when someone was told by unifi live chat). I guess even if the call is only a few seconds (less than 5 seconds) also count right?

In my case, the free minutes came in 60 second blocks, so a 5 second call is still considered a 60 second call.

That's because you got yours much earlier. Mine, I got later, so 5 second call is really 5 seconds. Thanks for your help.

What about these add-on calls of 60 & 200 minutes, is it based on 60 seconds block or otherwise?

Just divorced with Maxis for good and took the promo Unifi 59 plan. So far experience is pretty usable and no worries on data consumption.
