my speed now capped to 3Mbps after I hit 50gb quota ..

previously my speed was capped to 5Mbps after I hit 30gb.

If put unifi mobile sim in home broadband, it will deduct the hotspot quota or unlimited?

Update.

Inserted Unifi Air sim into my Huawei E-5186-22a router which only support Unifi Band 38.

This is the disappointing result.

Unifi Air sim ( which is advertised as unlimited and up to 20 Mbps) connected at Band 38 only can get 3.xx Mbps.

But my Unifi mobile Bebas Sim in the same router, same Band 38 can give me cappped speed of 7.xx Mbps

Unifi Air must be heavily capped , and half the speed of capped Unifi Bebas.

Tomorrow I will return Unifi Air for a refund.

Ok, the slow speed was due to testing done at peak hours. Here is the speed at 3.30 am in the morning. Guess will keep it after all. 👍👍

But..I let it makan all my credit...free for unifi...hahaha

Is this worth it to sign? It says the price remains after 12-month contract which is not too bad.

Now today i have a problem

Every 1st day of the month the free 10gb hotspot will renew itself.

So mine was renewed yesterday. During the 1st day(yesterday) only watched around 600mb video and play some online game around near 200mb. Yesterday night before sleep i checked my hotspot data was 9.2gb left. Then i sleep. Woke up this morning. Watch some 60mb video data then disconnect. I checked my unifi app and i saw 0 hotspot left.

Seriously..
Ive chat with live agent. They said i already finish it all.
I told them there is no way itll finish surely there must be a problem from their side. He said will make a report to technical staff and have to wait for them.
So which means atm i cant use hotspot unless u buy some.
Ive ported from umobile from 28dec. Already new year and bad new year vibes already started

Not sure if it is capped at 8mbps or because I was able to get to 20mbps on 4G+. But I need a stable 4G+ network to do full test.

So far unifi Mobile prepaid is able to stream YouTube and Netflix FHD without buffering. But your network kena strong lah. Like myself from upstairs can get 7-8mbps once go downstairs 2mbps je.
