I already tested it, if bebas prepaid connected to B28 (which is anchor band for DNB) then you get more than 8Mbps speed.. but if connected to B5,B38 or B40 then you get maxed 8Mbps..

Nice

Ok my old MR100 LTE router can change band frequency,

Just now tried locking into B28 in Tambun, did speedtest and fast.com test, speed avg around 20-32mbps.

I don't stay there, I only use it to livestream my CCTVs.

It has to support 5g, that router is only LTE.
*
Beats me, I just refresh the band list a few times then band 28 popped up so I terus connect, didn't even care if it's 5G only but as long it gives me 'good enough for RM35 unlimited' speed lul.

So with unifi eating fucking shit, are there any other telco with SIM plan with unlimited hotspot for less than RM200 per month?

For the whole 200GB quota or there's some sort of tier throttling (for my lack of better term)?
*
1-6am can get around 40-50mbps, probably cuz no one is using

If school holidays or any festive season, usually 20-30 or lower

only time it hit 70+mbps was when I use the SIM (w/ router) in Tambun

No throttling afaik

I thought hotspot limits only works with sim in phones, not router
*
Umm no. If hotspot limit doesn't work on routers then everyone can buy the cheapest telco plan out there and abuse the hell out of it by using router laugh.gif

Unifi mobile was so congested during CNY at Puchong area I almost wanted to throw away the sim card. I was on "Unlimited".😒
*
Just give up on unifi and go with any telco that offer 'High Speed' package. It's slightly more expensive but less restrictions since you get to max out on what you paid.

So far Hotlink Pantas i managed to squeeze out every thing.

I never liked the idea of paying for fibre cause I cannot move it around and also get tied to a 2 year contract.
*
Same

After potong cable back in 2010 and switched to P1 Wimax, never look back. Even after I moved to a different state, I still stick to wireless internet, never got fiber since I dislike the thought that whatever I'm paying is only fixed to one location.

Quick question,

Can i login unifi app, and control 4 different lines?

My use case is for sim card data for gps tracking only.

Need app control that can use for multiple lines without having to insert simcard into phone and check/topup etc.

for unifi bebas prepaid
*
1 line 1 app iirc

So u need to login/logout for each line

According to their TNC, you have to purchase the package first, then you will found the option to buy the RM3 addon
