Download unifi@mobile app and get your free prepaid simcard from app.
*
It's mobile@unifi app.
And, there's no more free SIM, it costs RM10 for one SIM. If you choose home delivery, you'll need to add RM10.60 for delivery fee.

I repeat there's NO more free SIM whether or not you self collect. RM10 for one SIM, and RM50 for five SIMs.
If you opt for 5 SIMs, it'll cost you RM60.60 total for delivery.

It's not FREE because it's now come with one time '30 days unlimited data'.

The network is somewhat congested at my home location too due to MCO. Since it's FREE, just use it.

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Apr 20 2020, 09:36 PM)
I was wondering if you guys can get upload speed HIGHER than 1 mbps?

Mine is only hovering on 0.5mbps or lower.
But my DL speed is 20mbps!
It would take AGES for me to upload my office works to cloud  doh.gif

Or it is dependant on location?
Fyi, i even tried on different times. 2am, 7am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, 10pm, ALL having below 1 mbps UL speed.  sad.gif

I am using unifi mobile RM79 package.
*
Every telco network has kinda "blind spots". The house just next to yours might get stable connection, yet you get lousy one.

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 21 2020, 03:04 AM)
as usual. the promo price is always on. now even better than before. 'unlimited' tethering.
I could see only 10GB hotspot, and 999GB during MCO period.
What did you mean "unlimited" tethering?

QUOTE(3nergy @ Apr 25 2020, 05:12 PM)
Huawei b618 or any unlocked modem will do.
*
Please do NOT mislead people. NOT ALL unlocked will work with UNIFI MOBILE, because unifi mobile uses only LTE band 5, 38, & 40 for its 4G network. Hence, any modem doesn't support those LTE band would be useless.

actually quite irriting that the unifi mobile bebas prepaid does not have the expiry date shown in the app itself.
*
The expiry date based on your last usage, then it will need to update everytime after your last usage.
If they do as you say, its App might get rather unresponsive.

Can unifi bebas free plan prepaid work with any 4G modem ? looking for alternative for Yoodoo
*
Not all 4G routers will work with unifi mobile bebas. You need to check if the modem supports LTE band 5, 38, & 40, and also if your area has the additional LTE band 38 & 40.

It work with unifi air
*
Unifi Air & unifi mobile bebas use the same LTE band 5, 38, & 40. Any modem that supports those LTE bands will not pose a problem for both of the telcos.

TM penalty = fully 24-months payment. It's just the same as you use it for 24 months without additional add-ons.

anybody manage to terminate unifi prepaid recently? need to free up some slots.
*
You can cancel it via Live Chat. I did it b4, and received email saying something like "sorry to see you go". Unifi Mobile is the only telco allowed to cancel prepaid, other telcos need to wait until it auto-termination activated.

Good luck to those sign-ed up for 12-month contract RM59/month plan... Here is the brand new attraction from Maxis/Hotlink @ RM35/month

#BanContractPlan
*
It's capped speed at 3mbps, with no hotspot quota.
Maxis is very aggressive in launching unlimited data plan recently.

I do not use any Unifi Mobile postpaid plan. So, I can't tell but derthvadar should be able to answer your question.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jun 3 2020, 01:29 PM)
Celcom is in the biggest problem as Celcom just launched its first unlimited mobile data plan a few months ago with the RM98/month plan having a video streaming speed capped at 5Mbps. At least Digi Infinite 100 speed is capped to 10Mbps and I can vouch that 10Mbps is good enough to stream 1080p content and to browse a website simultaneously.
*
Maxis mobile postpaid plans are getting upgraded to more data. And, also introducing unlimited data prepaid plans.
Almost ALL of Celcom plan are getting less and less attractive and more expensive, be it mobile or broadband.

Did they got any prepaid to test it out?:hmm
*
Yes, but Unifi Mobile Bebas (prepaid) unlimited data add-ons are capped speed at 8mbps. You can only test with either its free or expensive data for its true performance at your location.
