New member checking in.

Reading the old parts from sifus seems SA is not really making any profit for anyone yet.

I'm currently on 6.5, 20, 36 with 2-6-2 ratio. Any care of advice about how reasonable this is to start with?

Noobie investor here, hence why I thought to go with SA, I tried FSM and got burnt real bad.

It's just a policy that they need to comply with. You don't have to answer that question truthfully

Sorry all, maybe this has been answered before but how do you know if the dividend withholding tax has been processed by Saxo?

Seems like something that Stashaway can improve transparency on... at the moment we have no idea if and when they are processing this refund on our behalf..

Hopefully this is steady for future deposits.

I started out may 2019, the one at 6.5 returns is 4% and 36 is at 7%

Just maybe lucky so far, but am worried for the rest of the year. DCA I think will be key for uncertain times.

Thinking to dial back the risk but so tempting now to keep it until we see the next fed rate.

do you have examples of what you track? maybe if you list here, all of us can pressure SA to implement in the app for future?

To do the manual way, total value investment/ units of shares?
Will see how it goes after 2nd round of top up
Or any other sifu got any predetermined Excel format to share?
*
I was thinking more like include buy price vs bid price (something like that) per transaction.

Do u think that stashaway is suitable for retiree? For someone who EPF is already max out and FD promo nowadays is only 3.x %.
*
probably not because your horizon is about 5 years. stashaway is for 10-20 years horizon (you can of course withdraw but the returns may not be that great and the risk taken is much higher).

depends on your personal preference and appetite for risk. if you have small capital, the difference in risk is not that big, it make more sense in ASB or unit trust or FD since there is literally no risk taken.

Why sell? Only sell when fundamentals have changed. If you sell you need another replacement. Why do you need a replacement if current company is good unless you are too free. Like I said as long as I don't sell money will definitely come in.

Nicely said. I think one needs to understand their investment strategy. Long term players generally reinvest dividends and let it snowball until you can live off your dividends 20-30 years down the road. This strategy is meant for retirement passive income.

the webinar will be important to understand the direction from the CEO, CFO.

again, we are trusting SA to have done their due diligence and based on market sentiment and their model analysis to choose something that will return consistent profits.

last round of re-balancing seemed to work pretty well. my personal opinion is to trust them this time again - this round seems a little riskier and bold to exit US market but hey, no risk no reward.
