QUOTE(honsiong @ May 15 2019, 05:00 PM) Not at all. Risk index is up to you, nothing to do with finance knowledge. It’s better to take on risk you can handle than risk you capitulating entire portfolio later, that’s even worse. QUOTE(Krv23490 @ May 15 2019, 05:04 PM) All this apps exist to make life simpler for people which not much finance knowledge! Just go through their FAQ and if still dont understand, can always ask here or their customer service Thanks for the input guys. Will definitely come here again if i have anything to ask about stashaway! |

What will happen if my total return is lower than my deposit? Will I be out of the game?

QUOTE(MUM @ Mar 18 2020, 11:15 PM) I think if you don't sell...only paper loss.... Ah just paper loss hahaha, it's okay then I'll continue dca. Sorry for the noob question, my studies all gone back to uni since my career are in retail line. unless you need to generate profits to pay for the "loan" taken to buy into the game QUOTE(honsiong @ Mar 18 2020, 11:16 PM) That means all the assets you own will be $0... That means such situation will be worse than economy crisis ah?That’s doomsday scenario. Learn how to hunt, harvest, cook, and live in caves. |

QUOTE(honsiong @ Mar 19 2020, 12:01 AM) K if the 1Y TWR loss really breaks stashaway’s risk level, your life is already fucked up outside of your investment. Omg I'm sorry for asking such a scary question. Think of world wars, civil unrest, basically life can’t go on as usual. Maybe not that bad lah. What you asked was if total return lose more than ur deposits, meaning your entire portfolio $0 ady, thats end of the world. I'm just gonna go to sleep now and pray everything will be fine months later |

QUOTE(joshtlk1 @ Jan 6 2021, 12:56 PM) In the grand skim of things, March downturn was just a 'blip' in history. If there is any lesson to learn in 2020 is that DCA still works. And will continue to work in 2021 and dare I say in the future. Hi what's your riskindex?Never listen to people who does not have your financial well-being in mind like a CFLi** person lol. What do you guys think? ![]() |
