Ya, it seems SAMY is much better than Wahed. They really did a great job at this period of time...

Just awaiting Wahed to breakeven, then pull out everything. Better gambling elsewhere is much more secure return.

even with the new ETF? i personally prefer stashaway because how diversified it is rather than Wahed thats concentrated on one etf (hlal) only.

New? I would say progress is slow. Say get -11% before transform now still at -10%.

It doesn't really work that way....if SAMY is performing even better over that period of time you are still losing out.....

Suppose you put in 100 in capital in Wahed.

Say you have today RM90 worth in NAV in Wahed due to losses.

If you want to breakeven you have to wait for Wahed to rise by RM10. It may take 10days or 1 year or 2 years or forever.

In that amount of time, if the RM90 was immediately transferred over to SAMY, how much will it be in 10days, 1 year or 2years (the exact time it requires for Wahed to breakeven, if it does).

Conclusion is forget your capital, save your remaining NAV and future value.

True agree. Small money anyway I put there.

Recently uncle's son told uncle about this robo investor called stashaway. Uncle decided to give it a try and put in Rm10k to see how it works. Now uncle saw that stashaway is telling uncle that it has made a profit of Rm116.97. Uncle want ask other stashaway users, do you take out your investment when you reach a certain profit target or do you just leave it there?

I got account there already, not yet deposit.

Now hold small capital in Wahed, similar robo crap. Awaiting free money to come.

The problem with some of you guys who say "I'm gonna sit it out for now, wait for the dip then pump in", is this : hindsight is 20/20. How many of you can say with absolute certainty where the bottom is? Meanwhile while you wait, you may have missed out on the best trading days. Not to mention with SA, you get a delay between your deposit timing vs actual buy in timing.

Conclusion, just DCA and ignore the market noise.

Time in the market beats timing the market. If you really believed this, put your money where your mouth is and stay the course.

Over the long run, it doesn't matter if you buy in at the dips or at the tippity top of the market.

Yeah, expectation must be realistic. Few percent profit annual average by doing nothing is good lo. Or negative a bit ok as well.
