Hi, everybody has this dividend entitlement in SA simple? Completed 8/7. Rm12.46. Is it a fixed amount? Or based on number of units held? When will we see this reflected in our account? And this dividend is on top of the regular returns (2.4%)? Thanks.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Jul 8 2020, 09:20 PM) Completed means the amount is already in your Simple portfolio. But my portfolio didn't increase by 12.46, only the usual 2-3 days few ringgit.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Jul 8 2020, 10:17 PM) How was it being distributed? In term of cash or in term of extra units (like distribution). Normally, distribution is reinvested at NAV unless specifically instructed otherwise. You'll be getting extra units in return and ex-distribution NAV will be adjusted down accordingly. Seems like the confusion was because it's written as dividend. I've figured it out I think. After dividend, nav drop, hence my initial amount also drop. I deposit $5k, now only $4990.xx (99.75% asset). The remaining 0.25% is cash, from the dividend, $12.46. Which I think next few days will be use to buy more units. Ended up actually returns increase few ringgit, not $12.46.

QUOTE(bourse @ Jul 9 2020, 09:06 AM) Distribution is MYR 0.0013 per unit. ie. RM0.0013 X your SA simple unit as at 6 Jul 2020. refer post #7360 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
yesterday, it record in the Cash (MYR) account. today, it show buy order in progress. BTW, I do top up some fund after distribution date. This should be part of the projected returns (2.4%). Yes you are right. Today mine also showing RM12.46 buying in progress. What I don't understand is, why not directly convert into units? like wasted a few days, from 6/7 till complete buying progress i reckon tmr? Is all unit trust also like this during distribution?

QUOTE(lc115 @ Jul 23 2020, 09:06 PM) Hi everyone, Can I do one time deposit into Simple and transfer weekly to investment? Yes can. Just be aware there will be a time lag because stashaway need to sell your Simple units first, then process, get the funds and reinvest in your other portfolio. Some here reported takes up to a week.

Might be funny to say this but after 6 months of dca, now only I realise SA buy order changes with how portfolio performing. My transaction today, the buy order only 5 etf, it's not buying kweb but buying a lot of gld (22% risk). Seems like it will try to get back the target %.

I noticed after deposit and conversion, it will show buy order say $150. But next morning the buy completed is only $120+. Strangely doesn't tally. Then next trading day they will buy another order the remaining sum. Why is that?

Been dca-ing for 6 months, always Thursdays. So far what happens is 7-8am in the morning I jompay before I go to work, by noon will get notification they received. The next day ie by Friday usa market close the buy order would be completed. However, has anybody noticed in recent month, it has been getting slower. For pass 3 weeks, the buy order only completed on Monday usa market close. For dca I guess I doesn't really matter to me etf price wise but I don't like if SA is earning extra few days interest holding our money. Any comments?

QUOTE(xander83 @ Jan 23 2021, 09:08 PM) Nothing to do with SA as the clearance from JomPay is slow towards end of the week since early November It’s always best to dca on Monday and Tuesday to take advantage the market as the actions happens then as the buy orders are always active on those days due to the market movements Oh didn't know that. Ok will switch to Monday/Tuesday. Is it still better to use jompay then? Also, does this mean I should jompay on sat/sun or Monday morning?
