I just started on this
So literally stashing away small amounts hoping that it'll be better than just savings in bank

Transfer is also easy with FPX, which could be something new as I saw the first page it seemed like complicated manual IBG/IBFT transfers.

I guess he misunderstood the meaning of domestic borrowing. He is definitely eligible to sign up
*
What is the definition of that btw?

For my case I clarified with SA support and currently I'm eligible however if I take up after house and/or car loan, that may not be the case.

I remember b4 reoptimise, my port got gold holding and it was on the uptrend but SA reoptimise it, selling all of the holding including  gold (according to statement, sold up at profit 16%)

So SA robo predicted the future!! Lol

That time so much talk of recession, inverter yield curve, Brexit, trade war..

Anyhow, after the reoptimise, my portfolio started to gain about 1.5% ROI
*
No way lol

Stray a little down south.... StashAway SG launches local income portfolio with SGX ETFs:

Option to reinvest or have dividends transferred to bank account.

All except QL3 are Nikko-AM ETFs. IMO profiled for someone within 10 years horizon of retirement, a little rich on high yield though if AUM is small.

Can we access/invest with SAMY?

Where got so fast update lol
The market just opened, tomorrow will only update on SA
The negative for both of you is probably becoz of currency impact.
*
No worries, investments should be long term after all.
I've set monthly debit on small amount I can spare so starting small better than nothing at all.

Better late than never thumbsup.gif

Dollar cost averaging.

Aka deposit consistently, every week/month/quarter.

As opposed to lump sum.

Is it really worth all the trouble to figure out how to time the market?

Serious question here, cuz I want to know the answer too.

Isn't that going against the point of Robo advisors? Lol

Me only 7% of my monthly earnings go to SA
and that's only recently increasing DCA as market tumbling down.

Previously only 2%

Commitments too high sad.gif
