Does anyone here have a target of making Stashaway as a FIRE vehicle? Is it possible though? I kinda like that idea..

Mine is in the 22% port and there's a slight fluctuation after I agree to reoptimize. Well, we'll see how it goes.

QUOTE(chichabom @ Sep 1 2020, 05:31 PM) Anyone investing extra amounts lately in view of the strenghtening MYR? Though market could be at all time high, advisable to invest more just to take advantage of the favourable forex now? I still DCA. If you think that market is at all time high, then you don't want to buy at the high, then don't. But do remember that the portfolio is diversified. Let's say that you're waiting for a slight dip/crash to buy lower, you'll kinda miss out on the rise of commodities like GLD. GLD correlates negatively with stocks. But then in this irrational market, it could go the other way around. |

As of now (time I wrote this post) Dow, S&P, Nasdaq drop couple of points. Either it's time to DCA or stay away. Follow your own game plan & money management.

Hey everyone, I need some opinion, if you can give any.
I'm thinking of opening another portfolio (max RI 36%). My current portfolio is 22 % (invested 1 year, 11.36% TWR and 18.40 MWR) Is it a good choice to open another portfolio? Having 2 separate to portfolio (easier to track the performance)? Or should I just change the risk index on my current portfolio to the highest one and not having 2 portfolio? As I recalled, if I change my index at this moment, it's like selling or buying some asset classes on a little bit high prices (correct me if I'm wrong). Thank you. |

QUOTE(tadashi987 @ Dec 4 2020, 12:46 AM) i cant find reason to say no, SA by far performance is satisfying. Thank you yeah somehow true, so if u dont hope to sell high and buy high, then later u unhappy see ur new portfolio is in red in that case u better have two portfolio at least u see the greens ones which make u happy a bit dont undertstand how 'easier to track the performance' in a reason to open new portfolio thou IMO to go for any portfolio with respective risk, it should be because ones is keen on that portfolio % of asset allocation, not because of easier to track performance |

QUOTE(honsiong @ Mar 25 2021, 01:04 PM) Even after 1.5 years of investing with stashaway since mid 2017 - dec 2018, I still kena -23% loss during December crash. Hence, the concept of loss aversion is applicable in this context.I never withdrew, I just keep depositing, hit +80% at one point. It seems like ppl are very OK with EPF, CPF, ASB absorbing all the > 6% gains but not OK with stashaway dip a bit while giving > 10% CAGR so far. Quazacolt and DragonReine liked this post

No one can correctly predict when is the exact top or bottom. But you can be sure the market will always go to the right (on the chart). That one is the ONLY sure thing LOL Hoshiyuu liked this post
