looks like no SOP from SAMY  doh.gif hahaha

hopefully after this, the experience i gained from SAMY would not be too far off with my other investment platform... FSM & PMO
*
SAMY outsources the direct debit job to 3rd party company.
Not sure if the same model used by FSM and PMO.

Morning is exchange rate change.
So you will see diff current value.  yesterday MYR diff with today MYR value.  BUT USD remain the same.

Tea Time is after ETF price change.
So you will see completed results.  yesterday MYR diff with today MYR value.  AND USD also reflected.

GLD carry so much weight, a slight increase on it pushing up the portfolio despite others are dropping mildly.

Really wish stashaway away create more portfolio for us to choose.

You can create multiple portfolios by varying the risk index.
Just that its underlying ETFs cannot be customized.

Dividend won't go into Net Deposit.
It'll be calculated under Current Value.

My net deposit also showed odd figure (withdraw once to do testing).

Just leave it and can't do anything.
*
So mystery solved, the odd figures in Net Deposit is caused by withdrawal from portfolio? hmm.gif

Just wonder the 'profit' will be reinvested automatically or just merely return only.
*
It's just profit on paper and there's nothing on hand till you realise it (sell it). Only dividend received will be reinvested.

Maybe unable to match the amount or units if the order is too small.
My guess only.

Or the new order placing algorithm could have impact on this? hmm.gif

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Nov 3 2020, 06:33 PM)
We’ve updated our Terms and Conditions

As part of our continued efforts to improve your investing experience with us, we’ve made some changes to the way we execute trade orders.

First, instead of placing our buy and sell orders directly in the markets when we receive those orders, we may net the buy orders against the sell orders before placing your orders in the markets. This will enhance our operational efficiency so that we can get you the best possible price on your trades. You can find these changes on Clauses 8.3 and 8.4 in our Account Opening Agreement. We only net amongst StashAway Malaysia clients. You can learn more about our netting process here.

Second, we’re making changes that will process your deposits and withdrawals much more quickly. For every transaction, we always compare the Initially Settled Amount (ISA) and the Actual Transaction Amount (ATA) to make sure that there isn’t a discrepancy between the settled amount on your portfolio and the actual amount. We used to wait to process the transactions after we received the ATA, which was received at T+1. To speed up your transactions, we’re now using your ISA to process the transactions. So now, when the ATA comes in, we’ll look to assess the difference between the ATA and ISA. If it’s negligible, we won’t make any changes, and so the ISA will stand. If the difference isn’t negligible, then we’ll correct the transaction amount such that it matches the ATA. This updated process makes your transactions faster because the ISA is available immediately, compared to the ATA that isn’t available until we receive the end-of-day files that are generated only once the US markets open and close the following day.

If you’re curious what constitutes “negligible” (Acceptable Tolerance Threshold, “ATT”), you can check that out here.

As for next steps, you don’t need to do anything to accept these changes. By using StashAway from 17 November 2020 onwards, you agree to our updated Terms and Conditions. We do, however, suggest that you still read the updated Terms and Conditions in full.

Ringgit strengthens to over 2-year high versus US dollar

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 11): The ringgit advanced against the US dollar for a third consecutive day today amid recent gains in oil prices and weaker demand for the greenback, said an analyst.

At 6pm, the local note jumped 100 basis points to 4.0500/0550 from Thursday’s close of 4.0600/0620.

Yes it is projected but SAMY claimed that they're still maintaining the projection via subsidy.

4/10 Simple to Port ; 7/10 Port convert 0.2403
15/10 Bank to Port ; 16/10 Port convert 0.2406

2/11 Mgt fee 0.2410
2/11 Simple to Port ; 4/11 Port convert 0.2396
15/11 Bank to Port ; 16/11 Port convert 0.2427

1/12 Simple to Port ; 4/12 Port convert 0.2460
