Hi all sifu's. Does anyone knows how dividen is converted into units ?
I have made a list of purchase following SA buy order, the buy order units is so far tally with my total up. So what happen to my dividen receive ? shouldn't it be converted into units as well ? is yes then i should have more units available correct ? Hope someone can clarify this TIA. |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ May 13 2019, 10:25 AM) Hmmm never think of this. almost close to your amount, also around USD 1.xxHow big is your amount? I usually don't track as my monthly div hover around 1.5 USD and breakdown only 0.xxxx after daily movement it will adjust abit. i just want to have better understanding how SA works. for other investment dividen gets converted into units, so i assume SA also same |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ May 13 2019, 10:58 AM) Yes, that is what i mena, in units.Based on the attached photo (first dividen i get), how to compute. Normally when we buy, we get in the form of units. Is it the same when we get dividend it will be also in units. Based on the photo, how many units did i get ? ![]() |

QUOTE(ViktorJ @ May 13 2019, 11:55 AM) From what I understand, you do not get Dividend as Units, but you get it in Cash. I am guessing this because my Cash portion always goes up. So, I think it is: Dividend -> Cash -> Buy Units (it may in fact not be the exact same ETFs) For Example: 7/5/2019 Received Dividends from AGG, CWB, TIP, TLH, TLT 8/5/2019 Bought Units in AGG, FEZ, CWB, EWJ |

I suffered major losses from US / Japan equities with 20% risk index. You're right even changing to 6.5% i still hold these stocks.... at least it only 10% from my allocated funds. * when u say major losses, how much % are u losing ? i was about to ask the same question. i am in 20% risk from start, looses at 0.1% USD only as at today.
