Just keep calm and DCA over the next few years.
Setup a plan and stick by it, you will thank yourself in years to come.

cos it is so convenient and accessible with just a fingerprint to see your holdings and the performance

because the US market is at all time high now.

so now the market is heading for a correction, which leads to some drop and hence the sales.

so many here say is a good time to invest more, well, this is not wrong at all.

the idea of having a DCA plan is also partly to ignore all the noises from the market, just keep calm and keep DCA-ing and stick with your plan.

forget about the investment that you have put in, visit after 3 years, you should see your money grow.

but the problem is the convenience we're getting now, just a fingertip and we can access to it.

whenever the market down, it attracts a lot of non so active forumers to start posting. which is a good thing also.

then the VCA gang will come out and say their part of story.
and the DCA gang will come out and say something as well.

Whatever is it, invest only with your spare cash, not the money you need to buy milk powder next month.

Other than that, just stick with your own plan(s). Keep calm and do your normal DCA (regardless of how the market is doing).

Invest a little bit more when you wish to especially when the market is down down down. but a question to the VCA gang, when is the bottom of the market? based on your logic, should wait until the market is at the bottom then hoot everything in. but how low is low?

doesnt matter which gang you are, you will thank yourself in years to come.

for new fresh funds? or will it overlap with our existing ones?

well, it is not wrong if you want to withdraw it and reinvest too, but why so much hassle.

just continue topping up on a periodical basis and a little bit more when the market drops, in the long run you will be a winner.
