QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Apr 15 2021, 11:15 AM) If only I have this much i assumed your ASN is FP funds...Because I'm planning to allocate 70% of my funds into SA. And the other 30% into ASN. I'm not sure if allocate a huge sum into SA is a good idea. I don't know why.. I tested SA for 2 years already. Started in April 2019, so far I'm happy with the returns but I only put small amount la. ASN returners are super low now so looking at other alternative. I'm not good at stock so it's out, picking UT also not my forte. Putting from 4 figures to 6 figures so definitely some concern. unknown to what the SRI level you selected ... going from FP to SA could have significant emotional impact to consider especially one had been used to the comfort of getting abt 5% pa without having the "feeling" on how the markets moved..... 200K at 5% = 10 000 (had been happy) 200k at 4% = 8 000 (now feel ASN returners are super low now so looking at other alternative) variance of 2000 70% in SA, 30% in ASN FP 140K in SA, 60k in ASN FP 60K @ 4% = 2400 140k @ 5.5% = 7700 just targeting SRI level that has 'potential" of constantly generating a 6.6% ROI would be good enough |

My personal xirr for samy is slightly above 20%. ............... i had just joined the train last month. hope that the growth can sustain. and wish that it will not end up behaving like this trend...... QUOTE(bokbokchai @ Apr 17 2021, 06:46 PM) If I have 50k to put in Stashaway, do I lumpsum straight all in now or still need to DCA monthly from the cash stash I have already... i myself,...may not suits you....Please teach me sire. i do lumpsum..... for i had 'emotionally experienced' few times of big markets corrections..... for when i entered it, i know that the markets had just corrected > 15% from it peak (even though it is still alot higher from many years ago) for i am a positive believer of the current markets situation, for that money is not the money that i wanna touch for some years for i had no better place to put the money to slowly do DCA from it for that money that i put lumpsum is just some % of my net worth for i don't know how much to "split" into initial deposits, DCA amount and the number of deposits to do so as to gives me "better" investment benefits over lumpsum how do you see the markets now? still high or low or stagnant with chances of more downsides? how much emotional experience do you have on mkts corrections? what have you done previously when market corrected? did you exit to protect your investment from further losses? if you are NOT sure....then better DCA..... at what amount and at what interval is up to you to decide else if got time try read these? https://www.google.com/search?q=to+lump+sum...iw=1920&bih=969 |

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ May 7 2021, 11:53 AM) I've already surpassed the 6 months fee waiver amount. Any large holders here that just continue paying mgmt fees or just try to refer more and stack the amount? Or just sell off lol if it can continue to gives me "better" than expected roi that are on par with other similar platform...i would continue..... |

QUOTE(engyr @ May 16 2021, 11:12 AM) No point to see real time. Yes. I think so too. After put in the money, they spend one day to covert to usd, one day later only they trade. Difficult to time the market as they don't buy etf immediately. As my fund to them through Jompay take abt 24 hours for them to confirm SA received the money.... Before they can starts the process as mentioned by you |

How long do you want to put in simple?
How much do you want to put in simple? What is the rate variance between simple n the "better" others? If only 10k, if only for a month, if the variance is only 0.25%pa.....it is just abt rm2 variance a month.... Not sure abt others, but for me... I don't care much abt this rm2 a month, as long as it suit my shiok, simple, ease n quick of use |

QUOTE(zeronuker @ May 28 2021, 01:01 PM) Again, I gotta ask; Isn't Stashaway Simple free? If so, then why bother asking if get free 6 months or not? maybe this extended clarification helpsIf Stashaway Simple not free, then I gotta read about it again. I understand its free. A does not put money in Simple....A already put money in (example) 36% SRI A refer B. B put money in simple. A get another 6 months free or not? |

QUOTE(owum @ May 31 2021, 10:19 PM) Today marks my 45 days with SA - RSI 26% in UK pound denominator with 1 time lumpsum RM10k (monthly contribution got reversed by bank, don't know why?). The time-weighted return is 4.6%, with most of the return gained by the Gold (32%) while the equities (48%) performance is lackluster. Still far from the projected double-digit return (13-16%), will continue to DCA and report back in 6 month, 1 year. Has anyone getting above 8%? |
