i gotta agree with you on the limited choices. looking at their portfolio (https://wahedinvest.com/portfolio/) if this is what they gonna invest in, i'm definitely out.

my recommendation is just stick with Stashaway.

Market has gone up alot since early of the year. Those who entered earlier would have seen atleast 5-10% increase. Now isn't the ideal time to start.

You're talking about setting up direct debit in SA right? Under the bank listing, if you noticed there are no islamic bank eg. Cimb Islamic, Maybank Islamic Just pick their conventional bank.

today, the ringgit was traded at RM4.2335 versus the US dollar, the weakest in more than two years since October 2017. Today, the exchange rate opened at 4.2180, before trading between 4.2142 and 4.2335

Everything will be in your transactions and no charges and fees when switching but beware they need to sell, move that money your new portfolio and buy back, might take some time to complete the whole process. If same port folio, they will sell and buy back according to the new risk accordingly
