My question is, since there is no dividend or interest given every year, so there is no compound interest?

So it depends on the performance of the etfs when we are ready to cash out. It purely bet on the future market.

Thanks for sharing. You mean you do a manual revision to your own risk appetite?

I'm also wondering their risk index would yield how many actual % in returns? (based on historical data).

Uh if the pix doesn't show properly, or I sux at interwebbingz, just clickity the little button on the bottom right of the quote.

Or you can just read through the last 10 or so pages for some results posted by other people.

I just deposited my first rm500. Status turned to completed today.

But I notice 100% is allocated to cash. Is it because

1) they keep it on cash because the market is volatile? Or

2) they will only buy the etf this evening when US market open?

Thanks

Anyone know how the management fee works? I have 5 portfolios with SAMY, do they charge 0.8% for each portfolio ?
Portfolio 1 is 150k =0.6%
portfolio 2,3,4, and 5 = rm3k each
A : total 162k x 0.6%
B: (150k x 0.6% )+ (3k*0.8) + (3k*0.8) + (3k*0.8)+(3k*0.8)

Which is correct?
*
Should be A.

Neither. You total up 162K.

Then fee = (50 x 0.8%) + (50 x 0.7%)... so on, like tax brackets.
*
My bad.

Yes, exactly that.

for me

8 - 8
16.50 - 18.00
12.50 - 12.00

You cant get rid of GLD now, unless in below 10 or 36.

Previous mine was just nice at less then 10.

This is major overhaul. This time around looks like too diversify...

And AAXJ total wipeout.... Woahhh..

Asia really bad incoming....

At 36% risk currently and it shows cash (usd) target weight  at 69% when current weight is at 1%? Seems odd

SA sold some etf ytd for the adjustment
U can see it in your transaction

Display bug biggrin.gif

Should be: current weight 69%, target weight 1%

but it is showing the exact opposite at the moment haha

Do u think that stashaway is suitable for retiree? For someone who EPF is already max out and FD promo nowadays is only 3.x %.
*
I do think a small portion of a retiree's portfolio in 6.5 is reasonable. Plenty of rich old people have far riskier positions in their portfolio anyway. My aunt has crazy exposure in all kinds of metals and FX.

Hi guys I just started with SA. With a deposit of 200. Haha such little amount. The return today I got is -0.89... is it normal? Sorry new to this system
*
Welcome to the club!

It is perfectly fine to start with a small amount, that is the idea!

Which portfolio are you on? If it is on a more aggressive one, yeah the fluctuations will be high.

I chose general investing with risk of 14% . Is it bad for a newbie like me?
*
nah, it goes from risk 6.5 all the way to 36, so 14 is on the lower end (safer) of the scale

stick to it in the long term, DCA, and it should work out well biggrin.gif
